📷 Photo Kid A side D locked groove or not?
My copy of Kid A, double 10" 2012 repress, has this at the end of Motion Picture Soundtrack: a bit of silence, then the ghost track, then some more silence and the side ends.
I was told in r/vinyl that the first pressings of Kid A double 10" had a different trick: silence, then a locked groove, then you need to move the needle to the ghost track manually. How does your copy behave?

💬 Discussion How to achieve sustained Johnny Greenwood Note
I’m currently learning and preparing „Just“ by Radiohead to perform live with a few friends. But I don’t understand how Johnny achieves this long sustained note that doesn’t really fade away during the end of the last tremolo part (3:12 in the Song) ???
It sound really cool and I’ve seen live performances where he just keeps hitting the note a few times but when I do it it doesn’t nearly sound as good and smooth?
So if anyone knows how one achieves that sound or with which pedal I would be very grateful!
For a while I thought maybe it’s a EQ Pedal but I don’t think I’m right.

💬 Discussion Could someone share the URL on the Tokyo postcards?
Hi all,
I have been desperately searching for the URL on the Tokyo postcards, just to sign up for the mailing lists. Even went to multiple record stores in Tokyo here but no luck.
Anyone has the URL? Or a picture of the QR code? Would be very grateful! I realize it is probably not in any way a must to get tickets, but it would provide me with some peace of mind. Been waiting over a decade to get an opportunity to see Radiohead live.

💬 Discussion Would it be possible to find what other city's there playing through the links
I've noticed that for Tokyo and Melbourne the URL has a short 4 or 5 letter/digit string then -(city name). Would it be possible to find other cities before the cards are found through this?

shared this in r/postpunk. I see their early work as post-punk, but I’m not sure how others feel.
