Sleepy Floof My 16 year old baby
Meet my 16-year-old baby, still judging me from her cozy spot and ignoring that sushi toy like a true queen.

General Advice Too friendly with other cats?
My Remi is coming 2 next month. For the last 4 months I’ve been taking him out for a walk in the mornings. He absolutely loves it and it’s a joy to watch him hunting dead leaves, accidentally stepping in a puddle and jumping 4 feet in the air as if it’s lava, and climbing trees.
We have quite a few free-roaming cats in the area, and Remi is DESPERATE to play with them. He doesn’t seem to read feline body language very well, and just wants to chase and wrestle every cat we meet. To the point he scares them away.
I’ve definitely decided I’m getting a playmate for him. But I’m just curious if anyone else’s ragdoll is like this. Comes on too friendly to other cats instantly.

Silly Floof The pride and joy of my life: Lucian
Lucy is a very opinionated cloud who hates being airlifted and cuddled. He has strong opinions on consent before pets and cuddling :) Living with him, getting to know him better each day and coexisting on Lucy's terms is so enjoyable 😺

Happy Floof Somehow the last picked of her litter 🥹
She was available for weeks after her siblings went to new homes. All the while she was my first pick, and watching her remain week after week just felt like she was fated to be mine. She’s such a good little companion, and within the first 24 hours she charmed my boy cats into cuddling and grooming her too 🥹

Health Advice Breathing loud and coughing sneezing
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Update to my previous post regarding the sneezing, this is her loud breathing. Gonna call vets tomorrow but I’m guessing it’s probably some kind of upper respiratory infection such as feline herpes virus and she will need antibiotics? Any extra info or advice welcome. Coughing video on previous post

General Advice New Ragdoll Kitten is eating *big time*
Never owned a ragdoll kitten, an adult ragdoll, but never a kitten. He's 6 12 weeks old. I was told to feed 1/4 of a 5.5oz can. He demolished that. I topped up another quarter. Gone. Anyways he finished the whole can, pooped, peed, played, and demanded more. Ate another half of a 3oz pouch.
Even my adult ragdoll, an 18lb boy couldn't finish a can in one sitting. I would say he has worms but he was de-wormed already.
Is this typical of the ragdoll experience or do I have a monster?

Breeder Review WA Ragdoll Breeders – Prices, Availability & My Experience (Sep 2026)
I did quite a bit of research on Ragdoll breeders in Washington and didn’t want all that effort to go to waste, so I compiled a list to share in case it can be a helpful reference for anyone looking in the future.
I contacted some of these breeders directly. For others, I checked their websites and found that either the prices were higher than what I was looking to spend or the available kittens weren't what I was expecting, so I didn’t reach out. I’ll separate the two groups below and include the pricing and my experience where applicable.
All information and pricing are based on what I found as of September 1, 2026, and may change in the future.
Breeders I contacted
- Ragdoll Sea — $1,500+ pet quality / $2,200+ rare colors or patterns / $2,500+ show quality. Spay/neuter is not included. Owner responds quickly, usually within 2 hours.
- Diamond Lake Ragdolls — $1,600. Kittens (from Aella) are expected to be born around 9/15, so I passed since I’m looking to adopt ASAP. Owner responds quickly, usually within 2 hours.
- Dashing Dollz — $1,800. Owner responds quickly. Based on two days of messaging, she seems to start replying around 10 AM and has even responded very late at night, around midnight. Kittens have already been born and will be ready to go home in October/November. She provided a lot of useful information in her first reply, including the price and availability. Spay/neuter is not included. I might go with this one.
- GentleTouch Ragdolls — $2,000, including spay/neuter, and the kittens listed are ready to go. I sent an email but haven't received a response yet. Provided the kittens I'm interested in are still available and the owner responds, I'm deciding between this one and Dashing Dollz.
- Longfellow Ragdolls — $2,300. Owner responds extremely fast, within a few minutes. However, they didn't tell me availability right away and instead asked about my preferences.
- We Love Our Ragdolls — $2,400–$2,600. Owner responds quickly, within 2 hours. However, their next availability isn't until spring 2027, which is too far out for me.
- Osoragdolls — $2,500–$3,500. Owner responds quickly, within 2 hours, and provided a considerable amount of information about available kittens. I would consider them if I couldn't find a lower-priced kitten I liked.
- Rainkissed Ragdolls — $3,000. Kittens are expected to be available around Thanksgiving and/or Christmas, but the owner isn’t sure yet. Owner responds quickly, within 2 hours.
- Oh My Stars Ragdolls — $4,000. The owner is/was a veterinarian and I found very good reviews, but my personal experience wasn't good. I initially reached out asking about pricing and photos of available kittens. Instead of answering those questions, she asked me several questions about myself, including my name and where I live. I answered truthfully, she asked for more information, and I answered again while repeating my original questions. She then asked me to fill out an application. At this point, I still hadn't been given pricing or availability information. I completed the application and asked again, and she directed me to a section of the website, but neither that section nor the other sections had the information I was looking for: the price and photos of available or soon-to-be-available kittens. Eventually, she told me the price was $4,000. I appreciate breeders and rescues screening potential owners to make sure their animals will be loved and properly cared for. I understand the reasoning behind applications and questionnaires, and someone willing to put in that effort may be more likely to be a responsible owner. However, there is ultimately no guarantee of how someone will care for a pet after taking it home. At the same time, a breeder is selling kittens, so I think basic information such as price and availability should be provided upfront before asking a potential buyer to complete an application. I personally don't want to spend time filling out an application without even knowing whether the price is within my budget or whether there are kittens I'm interested in. Despite the many positive reviews I found, this cattery is simply not for me. I also couldn't help wondering whether the $4,000 quote was standard pricing or individually determined, although I have no way of knowing that.
Breeders I found but did not contact — Price High to Low
- Riverside Rags — $3,100–$4,500
- Masterpiece Ragdolls — ~$3,300 average; varies by individual kitten
- Revered Ragdolls — $3,000+ pet / $4,000+ show / $5,000+ breeding
- Tildonia Dolls — $3,000+ pet / $5,000+ show or breeding
- ThunderingPaws Ragdolls — $2,700+
- ElleBellRags Ragdolls — $2,500+ pet / $2,800 show / $3,200+ breeding (2025 pricing; website may be outdated)
- Fojo Ragdolls — $2,500+
- Rose City Felines / Cozy Cottage Ragz — $2,500–$2,800
- Roman Ragdolls — normally $2,500; currently has discounted kittens for $1,850, including spay/neuter
- Lapdolls — $2,300
- Bakerview Rags — $1,800+ pet quality
- Lake Riley Ragdolls — possibly around $1,800 based on a 2024 post; current pricing unknown
- Olympia Ragdolls — could not find pricing
- Amor Purrfect Ragdolls — could not find pricing; website was inaccessible

General Advice Would another ragdoll be more likely to be a good playmate?
My ragdoll boy will be 2 next month and I’m fully decided I’m going to get him a kitten playmate.
I’m strongly considering another ragdoll kitten. But then rescues I follow put up so many posts of crossbred kittens needing home and I get the guilt.
Is it the temperament of the kitten that matters most? Or another ragdoll be more likely to be a successful match?
I would so much appreciate anybody’s thoughts, please ❤️

General Advice My 10 month old ragdoll stopped playing
10 month old ragdoll stopped playing
My kitten is very shy I’ve had him for 7 months and he still runs from me. I can only pet him while giving him a lickable treat. 10 days ago I washed his bed ( the top of the cat tree) he’s slowly going back on it but not much and now suddenly hiding and sleeping more, any advice
Thank you
