Why I want to moderate this community:

I'm an active member of this niche and would like to see it active and well-maintained again. I have prior moderation experience on a similar community and understand the responsibilities of running an NSFW sub responsibly (age verification, consent, tagging/flair requirements, legal compliance). I noticed the sub going stale and want to keep this specific community/niche alive rather than see it die out or get taken over by an unrelated party. I'm committed to keeping it compliant with Reddit's content policy so it doesn't end up quarantined or banned.

My plan if approved:

  • Review and clear the approval queue
  • Update rules/sidebar/wiki to reflect current Reddit content policy (age verification, consent, no illegal content, etc.)
  • Set up AutoModerator for spam and rule-breaking content
  • Re-engage the community with regular posting and active moderation
  • Recruit additional mods for coverage if the community grows
