Rate my stack

My time in the field draws to a close, I was lucky enough to find an opportunity that gets me out of boots and into business casual but still working in refrigeration, and I’m taking an adjunct professor position at a local community college. I’ll be posting a “greatest hits” of sorts later on featuring some of my fuck ups and triumphs (sometimes on the same call) so stay tuned.

Please rate my stack /10, she’s perky, she stands up on her own, she’s completely full and she goes clear over my head please be gentle (that’s what she said)

You do install mostly? Or service? Nice stack. Glad to see someone proud of what they do for a living. Or I should say you did install mostly? One of my friends got a job teaching at the local trade school. He is getting paid $84/hr to teach diesel mechanics. He still works 55-60hr a week at the dealership and then teaches 8hr a week

Thanks man, I appreciate that, I do it all. Install and service, refer and hvac, I froze the ice the SJ Sharks skated on for about a year too. It’s been a fun ride but I’m ready for the next chapter

service is the best you need like  2 things out of that garage instead of the whole thing

Thats what im talking about. And you make more money, well if youre working for someone else. You can make big bucks doing install working for yourself. My old man used to do refrigeration for NASA and its a great job and all but he just started his own 1 man company and would do 2-3 resi installs each week and he was making more money that way and a lot less stress

I got the trolley and left the rolling toolbox at home. I scored the packout trolley cheap and it’s actually been useful with refrigeration. Looking forward to the single draw as I can fit all my tools into it.

The pack out drawers is a game changer- o would recommend replacing one of those bigger sections with the 3 drawers

Brother, if things go right I won’t have to touch those for work again
