44 Days, 44 Wins, Day 2: Blazers 122 - Lakers 108
The offseason can be a bit boring, so I thought we do a fun little series where each day I post a blazers win from last season until NBA basketball is back.
Today's win: Blazers @ Lakers, 122 - 108, Oct. 27, 2025. #4 of the season, 2-2.
Game Recap:
Portland picked up their first road win of the season in dominant fashion, taking down the Lakers 122–108 in Los Angeles. The Blazers controlled the game from start to finish, building a lead early and never letting the Lakers seriously threaten them. Deni Avdija led Portland with 25 points, while Donovan Clingan made his presence felt inside with a monster 14-rebound performance.
Play of the game: Shaedon Sharpe's 1,000th career field goal.
2:58 remaining, 2nd quarter
Score: Portland 46–41 Los Angeles
Jrue Holiday found Sharpe attacking the basket, and Sharpe took it all the way to the rim for a powerful dunk, putting Portland up seven.
The dunk was also Sharpe's 1,000th career field goal, making the moment even sweeter.
MVP: Jrue Holiday
24 Points, 5 Rebounds, 6 Assists
10/15 FG | 4/7 3PT
42 to go.

Yang Hansen leads China past Lebanon with a game-winner
Yang Hansen had a huge game for China in their 89–87 win over Lebanon in the FIBA World Cup qualifiers.
19 PTS | 9 REB | 3 AST | 1 BLK | 8/9 FG | 26 MIN
And most importantly, he secured the win at the very end, with the game tied 87–87 and just 2.2 seconds left, Hansen caught the inbound, attacked the rim and scored the game-winning layup. 🔥
He definitely improved a lot this summer, so we can expect a stronger performance from him next season with Rip City and the Trail Blazers.

The newest Dame card in my collection
I know it’s unlicensed and I’m sure I overpaid in the long run, but how could I not pick this up?

Scoot Henderson and the Blazers Conundrum
Hi everyone! I'm a sports reporter in the Portland metro area and have recently started writing for the Blazers On SI. This sub is very active and felt like one of the best places online to reach Blazers' fans. I'm very excited about the upcoming season and think this piece is a good example of the type of coverage I hope to provide.
Digging into some of Scoot's advanced numbers, they paint a picture that can’t be appreciated via traditional stats alone.

So for those of you who don't understand, Deni is explaining why he didn't join the national team this summer. The worrying part though is that it because of a back injury, I'm a little concerned that it will become something chronic.

Shout out to franchise legend Clifford 'Uncle Cliffy' Robinson, who passed away on August 29, 2020. Uncle Cliffy remains the only 6th Man of the Year winner in Trail Blazers history.

Courtside Seat Benefits?
Hi all, diehard Blazers fan here. My aunt is coming into town for the Warriors game in November. We bought row DD courtside seats because her dream is to be as close to the players as possible. I am wondering if the Oro Fino access, early entry and parking spot comes with these tickets or if it is only for row AA. The website is a little unclear and I want to make the event special for her, since she just lost her husband and is a diehard Steph fan.

Anyone Wanna Trade Some Pint Glasses?
Much like Bob Whitsitt, I'm looking to make some trades.
I have extra '25-26 pints of Dame, Yang, Deni, and Clingan.
I am looking for Jhrue, Toumani, and (only because I'm trying to build a full set for my daughter) Jeremi. If you have either of those three glasses and are interested in trading, let me know.
Something to do today!
If anyone is looking for something to do today, this is available.
