Hey folks,
Working on a mod for a flight sim. Want to build a flyable Veritech. I have the guts working just need a high detail model that is configurable. Yes it is hopefully going to configure to Battloid and or Guardian. Just need a 3d model that is fully complete.
I've seen some really good ones on different forums but from like 2014 era. I've sent DMs to those people but no response.
Hoping you folks here can help out. This is for a few mod that will be available to play at some point.

¿Am I really the only one who didn't know how arrogantly rude and respectful Macross fans are? Holy shit... I've been told to go fuck myself as a form of introduction before, but never by a whole "community"...
(Actually no, I forgot to include the so-called "2A community," but that's complicated this wasn't.)

Not trying to take anything from here, and by all means, please keep up the wonderful work of making Robotech based posts! But anyone who wants a safe place where discussion can be had of both Robotech *and* Macross? (As well as Southern Cross and Mospeada for good measure?) Come join me over at r/MaCrossPeadaTech!

When you think of Rick Hunter, do you think of the Skull Leader Veritech or the Red and White one?

Do you like the look of the FAST Pack parts on the Veritech vs just the standard version?
What's your favorite from the Macross Saga?

Hello, I’m 19 years old, and I grew up with Robotech (1985–1987) when I was younger. I’ve been thinking about what happened to that original Robotech era and that feeling of experiencing those stories when they became such a meaningful part of my life, especially following Rick Hunter, Roy Fokker, Lisa Hayes, Max Sterling, Miriya Parino, Ben Dixon, and the rest of the characters through their adventures, the unforgettable moments, the humor, the friendships, the battles, and the distinctive atmosphere that made Robotech feel so special.
Now that the original Robotech era has become part of the past, the period that many people discovered and grew up with can feel like it has passed. The actors, voice actors, directors, producers, writers, animators, filmmakers, and everyone involved in bringing Robotech to life have all moved forward. The people who helped create and preserve the series have gone on to different projects and different parts of their lives away from the original series. It feels strange because I grew up with these characters, and now everything has just… changed and moved on.
I remember watching Robotech when I was younger, and everything felt so simple. I could just sit down and become absorbed in Rick, Roy, Lisa, Max, Miriya, Ben, and the rest of the characters without thinking about anything else. Back then, it felt like these stories would always be there, and I don’t understand why they couldn’t just keep making new Robotech stories forever or why the original era eventually had to stop and move on.
I also wonder why experiencing Robotech now doesn’t feel exactly the same anymore. The episodes and stories are still the same, but the feeling is different. It feels like something is missing, almost like the series feels unfamiliar even though I remember it so clearly.
Why do television series and animated shows like Robotech (1985–1987) eventually change, conclude, or become part of the past? If people loved them for years, why can’t they just continue forever with the same feeling? Why do actors, voice actors, writers, directors, animators, filmmakers, and studios have to move on, and why do viewers grow up and stop experiencing stories the same way?
It feels strange knowing that the original Robotech era I grew up with is over, that the world has moved on, and that chapter feels closed, even though it once felt like it would always be there.
Maybe that is part of what makes Robotech so meaningful. Those stories did not have to last forever for the memories to last. The stories remained the same, but I changed. The world around me changed. The people who created the series moved on to other projects, and the time in my life when I experienced those stories without worrying about growing up eventually became part of the past.
I suppose that is why it can feel so strange to return to Robotech years later. I’m not only watching Rick Hunter, Roy Fokker, Lisa Hayes, Max Sterling, Miriya Parino, Ben Dixon, and the others again. I’m also remembering the person I was when I first discovered the series. The episodes can bring that feeling back for a moment, but they cannot completely recreate the time and place in which those memories were originally made.
The original Robotech era (1985–1987) may be part of the past, and there may never be another version that feels exactly like the one I grew up with. But that does not mean the era disappeared completely. It still exists in the memories of everyone who experienced those stories. The series may have reached its original conclusion, but the part of childhood and growing up that it represents does not have to disappear with it.

I'm experimenting with modeling Invid environments, and it would be really helpful if you could share some ideas. Rewatching the series, I found cannons that I could use as anti-aircraft batteries, giant forests, and some hive structures, but I'd love to have more references.

Finally got around to ordering my 15th ATAC sticker for the car! Looks great, got it off Amazon. As Dana would say, Rabbit-technology! Now everyone will know I’m a fan of Southern Cross.
