I waited 3 months to get the call once it was officially on my 'wishlist'. Have a fairly good relationship with our AD. I love the rose gold with the complimentary sundust dial for this Daytona. I prefer this to the pikachu and ghost variations. Something about rose gold being less blingy/more understated and working with most skin tones.

Was able to get my DJ 41 Mint Fluted Oyster as a walk in (this past July). At the time I casually asked the AD if they could order a Jubilee for it someday. I love my original combo but also loved the Fluted Jubilee look as well. I visited the AD last week to pick up something for my wife and I decided to pull the trigger on the Jubilee. Oyster for the summer months (mostly wear polos to work) and Jubilee for my more dressier months (Sept through May). At least that’s my plan 😂. On the list for a YM 40 TT Chocolate dial as my next watch to create a 2.5 watch rotation.

After putting the no-date on my list in March, I snagged this today! Very sharp watch, and the symmetry of this design is very appealing.

For those who are curious, my history with the AD is the purchase of a Tudor Pelagos in 2023. From what I gather, the “rarity” of these is dropping, which I’m happy about. I said no to the endless suggestions to buy jewelers or other watches.

I’m a young professional currently working in public accounting. I know for sure in the next 3-5 years I want a presidential day date, but am not ready to make the financial commitment even though I have the means. Is it possible/smart to go into an AD with the attitude of wanting to buy right now in hopes of joining the waitlist and getting the call a couple years from now?
