Howdy all. Local has these for sale ($80 for both pots). Doesn't know anything about them. Taller one is about 2 1/2 feet tall, shorter one is about 2 feet tall. Couple of pups. I'd like to grow 'em out, maybe chop and prop. Whadda ya think? Was hoping they knew the cultivar but doesn't sound like they have much of a clue.

Cactus newb here. My neighbor has been growing this cactus, and it looks terrible. Not sure when it's been watered or how much. It's got brown splotches and some black spots. Not sure how bad this is, but it doesnt look great.

What do you folks think os wrong here? Needs more water? More light? Less water?

It seems really dry. I think it needs more water, but I'd like to get some more knowledgeable opinions before I do that.

I have this cutting of PC im trying to get to grow roots to one day be rootstock. It started growing a pup. My question is do i need to cut the pup off so it focuses on roots? Or does it not matter?

Figured it was a steal at $25, but no idea which trichocereus species it is

It keeps telling me that my trichos are myrtillos…

Help me out here, and look at the second picture, which is my cactus that I scanned into the app. Mine are like a Bolivian Torch or something like that, but they are not Blue Myrtillo.
