I posted a question about 4 months ago if I should interfere with many pups being clustered close together.

Many of you wanted to see what will happen and I decided on nature to take it's route. Pups found a way poking each other giving enough space to grow 😍🤌

Howdy all. Local has these for sale ($80 for both pots). Doesn't know anything about them. Taller one is about 2 1/2 feet tall, shorter one is about 2 feet tall. Couple of pups. I'd like to grow 'em out, maybe chop and prop. Whadda ya think? Was hoping they knew the cultivar but doesn't sound like they have much of a clue.

Figured it was a steal at $25, but no idea which trichocereus species it is

Been having major issues with my TBMs. I’ve used the same soil mix and same watering schedule as my trichocereus Pachanoi and that may be the issue (I now know).. they’re in 50:50 organic and inorganic and I grow them on my rooftop under a clear sheet. It’s very hot where I am and quite arid, 45C peak summers.. I’m now changing the soil mix for them and moving to a 70:30.. A few of them have this happen at the base, where the skin has peeled off when I uprooted them.. It’s firm to the touch in those parts.. Wondering if this needs cutting or can I just pot this into the soil?

Found these 2 guys at lowes, I was fairly confident at first they were san pedros but now I really cant tell, google image search is no help. anyone willing to help?
