Ignore the bad pictures they were taken at 4a.m. 😅, but I finally completed my first SFFPC (my first ever full PC build)
I built this system because I wanted to downgrade/downsize.
Stats:
CPU: 5700x
GPU: Reference Model 6900xt
RAM: G.Skill Trident Z 3200 MHz
SSD: 2tb Kioxia Exceria Pro gen 4 drive
Mobo: Aorus B550i pro ax
PSU: Corsair SF850
CPU cooler: Noctua NH-L9i (37mm)
Fans: 2x Noctua NF-A12X25 PWM chromax.black.swap
All crammed into the FormD T1 v1.1 - 9.5l :)
The build came out super in my opinion and I love the form factor, I was thinking about maybe 3d printing a vertical stand even if it adds volume/worsens thermals a bit.
Also I know the CPU cooler could've been 10mm larger, but my buddy gave it to me for free because he wasn't using it so I thought why not! Thermal performance has been very good. Stress testing using Cine Bench I saw max temps of around 73° deg in both (gpu a bit cooler).
Cable management also came out well, but I was struggling on the GPU side, but I think it's very clean apart from that.
Cost (prices in CHF)(add about 20% for USD):
CPU+Mobo+CPU cooler - 120.- (amazing deal from a buddy)
GPU: 325.- + 12.- shipping
RAM: 105.- incl. shipping
PSU: 164.- (new)
SSD: 175.- (new from scalper 4 months ago)
Fans: 2*27.70.- = 55.40.-
Case + gen4 riser: 100.-
Total: 1056.4 CHF = ~1300 USD
If you guys have any recommendations of what to maybe change, I'm open to suggestions! I was thinking to switch the CPU cooler fans to match, but I think I'm going to met my wallet recoup first 💀
Editing because I realized I didn't glaze the GPU enough, but I'm absolutely in love with the black/silver asthethics!
