This took a while to get here. I wonder what else NGDEV will release? I used to own this on the Dreamcast years ago. I can't recall what other titles they did back then though...

This picture was taken when my EXA was running fine, sadly for the second time in its life it has to go back to EXA to have some work. Service is always excellent and hopefully after this return it will be good for years to come. I also have a special edition red Akai Katana EXA unit as well, I’m waiting on the color matched upgrade to become available for that. Still glad I got into the system and appreciate the high quality games.

The shmups community has been scammed;It’s been over 5 years and they have yet to release Crimzon Clover for the Nintendo switch. Please don’t ever patronize from them! EVER!

Hi, I’m still very new to the genre. I own Ikaruga and Radiant Silvergun because I saw they’re two of the most famous shmups. Every time I try them, they feel so different than the other shmups I’ve played. RS seems a bit more familiar to the bullet hells I’ve played but I’m not used to balancing so many weapons.

Gonna try to get better at both of them.

Also might check Gradius 5 when I get a chance.

Very happy to have achieved my 1CC in Novice Original and Novice Boost. From what I gather, Arrange should be my next goal before attempting Arcade, right?

I'm Rob Rightmyer, the developer of Threadbreaker. I wanted procedural bullet-hell runs without making the player decode arbitrary noise, so encounters are assembled from authored pattern phrases with fixed warning time, recovery beats, and a preserved escape route. Gold geometry tells you what is coming; grazing charges Thread; Sever lets you cut a lane when the pattern closes.

I'd value blunt feedback from experienced shmup players: do the gold telegraphs read honestly, and does Sever feel like skillful route-making rather than a panic button?

Developer disclosure: this is my own game. Its artwork and music include locally generated AI-assisted production assets, and the narration is my synthesized voice; the runtime encounters are deterministic authored choreography, not generated by an online model.

Beat scramble after 4 or so hours. But this one super cobra is much harder.

I have made it to lvl 6 so far.

Only 1 cred and no save states.

Sloppiest sickgrab i've ever done right after fixing the directdraw crashes caused by intel's mediocre iGPU drivers that for some reason kept throwing divided by zero crash codes when trying to play this shmup that i played way too much on ancient netbook cause it's this good, and it runs on everything. MIDI music, small hitboxes and fun gameplay, all in single free package? Hell yeah.
