Im trying to be less lazy this season and compare pricing more especially for moneylines, spreads and player props. I’ve seen Bet99 leaning into that but Im curious how often people actually see meaningful differences between books. Do you find one book is usually better for NFL or does it change every week?

Finally sorted my melbet verification last week after putting it off for months. Posting because I couldn't find a straight answer anywhere before I started. The annoying part is I’m in Sri Lanka, and nearly everything I’ve found about this is from people in completely different countries. It already says approved, so I assumed that was basically it and the money would just show up after that. Instead I’m still waiting and now I’m not even sure what approved actually means in practice. Some people say theirs arrived pretty quickly, others mention waiting much longer, so reading more has honestly just made it less clear. Has anyone had it stay on approved for a while before the money actually came through?

The window here is 7 points, which in MMA terms is actually meaningful. Judges score rounds 10-9 or 10-8, so a 7-point spread gap covers a fair chunk of realistic decision outcomes, and that's what made me look twice. The honest part of this though: one leg is at -135, so I'm eating real juice on the DraftKings side. That's not a footnote, it's the whole calculus. If the middle doesn't hit, I'm losing on one side and the -135 vig is what turns a near-miss into a net negative rather than a wash. I went in knowing that.

What I'm actually sitting on: Long Xiao +3.5 at +100 on Bovada, and Francesco Nuzzi +3.5 at -135 on DraftKings. Both spreads are at 3.5, which is where the window comes from. The 7-point gap isn't between two different numbers on the same fighter, it's the full spread width that both sides have to cover in opposite directions.

Both legs win if the fight goes to decision and the margin lands between 0 and 7 points on the judges' cards. That's the middle hitting. If Nuzzi wins by more than 3.5, the Bovada leg loses and the DraftKings leg wins. If Long Xiao wins by more than 3.5, it flips. Either way, one leg cashes and one doesn't, and the -135 juice determines how much I'm down on the miss.

On a $100 stake per leg, $200 total at risk: the Bovada leg at +100 returns $100 profit, the DraftKings leg at -135 costs $135 to win $100. If the middle hits, both legs win and I'm up $200 profit on $235 risked, roughly. If only one leg wins, the best case is the Bovada leg cashing for +$100 while I lose $135 on DraftKings, netting about -$35. Lose both? That only happens on a push or a very specific outcome, but the -$235 is the floor.

If i bet outright for the fight going the distance odds are currently at -120 which on the same 235 risk would only be a 195 profit.

Curious whether you guys would even bother with a middle when one leg is -135. At that point is the juice making it more trouble than it's worth, or does a 7-point window in MMA change your math?
