Hardware External ssd
I have an external ssd 4to in an aluminium shell that I have connected to the usbc port
It works but seems less reactive than my internal drive
Sorry for my ignorance but is it better to connect it by usb or usbc ?
Any way to test the drive speed in desk mode ?
Thank you

If they make a Linux version of crystal disk you can run that. But you’re limited by the speed of the port or the controller and the nvme.
I put the OEM nvme in an external enclosure and use it for emulation. Seems to work plenty well for that!

USB-C is always better, but of course it will be less responsive
