Hi guys, thinking of buying a new bike under a 3 lakh budget , needed some power with decent avg of around 30+ , main issue is my height is 6'2 and I am having a lean physique, so most bikes feel smaller for me ergonomics wise or they don't suit me,

Have tried classic 350 riding felt good but really not sure about whether it's ergonomics are right for me, will attach a photo so you guys can have a reference

Please suggest other options that can suit me just as fine and reliable

Hey everyone, I'm buying my first motorcycle and torn between two options after test riding both (already ruled out the CB350RS):

​Honda CB350 H'ness: Loved the butter-smooth clutch, light gear shifts, and refined engine.

​Royal Enfield Hunter 350: Very comfortable, nimble, and effortless to maneuver in traffic, but the clutch and gearbox felt noticeably heavier/rougher than the Honda.

I've been eyeing up this Yamaha R6. What do you guys think?

I'm looking to take a motorcycle class in the next month or 2, and I'm currently shopping around for a beginner bike that I can keep for a long while to come as I'll be financing. My price range I'm looking at is between $10-15k. I'll be using it to commute to work mainly(an hour each way) and weekend cruises, potentially up to the mountains.

I'm considering a Honda 1100 DCT, but are there any other bikes I should consider? I like the cruiser style.

My budget is around $1,600, and most of the times I just do short trips around town, no highway, and maybe the occasional gravel road also.

So, I got tempted by the Hikeep MA-S because electric sounds easy and I like the idea of not dealing with gas or a clutch. Then I started thinking about registration. If I can’t title or insure it here, the pedals don’t really solve anything.

At that point would you guys just look for an older 250 with paperwork and learn to ride it properly? It is my first bike, so feel free to tell me if I’m looking at this completely backwards lol.

Hello, I am looking for my first bike. I am kind of looking at the cf moto line like the adventure line up but I can’t find how much weight they can take. I am currently 5’9” and about 300 lbs but I’m losing weight. What do I need to look for when picking out my starter bike?

I am aware that this question probably gets asked in here often, but i haven't been able to find a response i liked. I am a student, and am looking for an A2 bike. I love the look and idea of nimble sport bikes, and am not too much into the bigger touring bikes or naked bikes. As i said i am a student, so it can't be too expensive to have/buy. So far i am considering the GSX 600f from 2000 ish, and the SZR660, also from around that time. Any other bikes i should be considering?

So i have been riding fo 3 minths less then a year now on my Kawasaki Z500. It's been pretty good it's been great, but im looking to upgrade to something thats more stable and easy on highways. Where I live, every road, surrounded by me is either an interstate or a state parkway, local roads have a limit of 45. The z500 is pretty fun, but the problem I have is that whenever i'm on the highway, it's just like too light, and need to always keep the throttle pinned fully open, and my daily mileage that I do is about twenty five miles. I only want a naked or standard motorcycle, and want to do it during the off season of riding for a better deal. Currently what i've been seeing is the CB750 Hornet, Z900, STREET TRIPLE R. Everything from what i've named is around 8000 for the 2025 model year except the triumph. But then there's also the part of me saying, I should just keep using this Z500, it would be great if yall could give a recommendation.

Looking for some advice from smaller riders: when choosing a bigger motorcycle, how much do you prioritize weight vs. seat height?

I’m 5’5” and about 125 lbs. I currently ride a Honda Trail 125, but I’m ready to start looking at a larger bike.

I’m mostly interested in adventure/touring bikes because I want something I can comfortably ride around town, take on back roads and highways, and eventually do longer trips on. Mostly pavement with the ability to handle some gravel/fire roads — I’m not looking to do serious off-roading.

The bikes I’ve liked the most are the Triumph Tiger 900 (especially the low version) and BMW F750GS, largely because I can get them low enough that I feel really comfortable with the seat height. However, they’re both around the 480–500 lb range.

That has me seriously considering the Honda NX500 instead. It’s taller, but at roughly 430 lbs it’s considerably lighter, and I’m wondering if that matters more than being able to get both feet down easily.

For context, I have ridden my friend’s Tiger 900 and really liked it. I did drop it once making a right turn from a stop — completely my mistake and definitely a slow-speed technique issue I’m working on.

Interestingly, I was able to pick the Tiger back up by myself without a problem, so physically handling the weight once it was down wasn’t really the issue. It’s controlling that weight when it’s moving very slowly and starts to tip that I’m thinking about.

I’m continuing to practice slow-speed clutch/rear-brake control, turns from a stop, keeping the bars straight when stopping, etc., regardless of what I buy.

So for riders around my size, especially those riding ADV bikes: would you rather have a ~500 lb bike with a 30–31.5” seat that lets you get your feet down comfortably, or a ~430 lb bike with a ~32.8” seat that’s noticeably lighter?
Would you go Tiger 900 / F750GS or NX500 for a newer rider in my situation? And did weight become less intimidating as your slow-speed skills improved?

Hi everyone - I recently got back into riding after a few years off (shoulder surgery). Altogether I have about 10 years of riding experience.

I rode a 2014 Ninja 250 for years all over Chicago and Miami, used to ride daily and commute 1hr on side roads and freeways. I loved that bike, but did eventually find myself wanting more power.

After my Ninja finally died I replaced it with a 2022 CB300R, which was a fantastic bike but I think I made a mistake in not moving up to a higher displacement because I found it lacking pretty quickly. I sold it when I had shoulder surgery as the year-long recovery kept me off two wheels.

I recently got back on a bike, and got a great deal on a 2007 Suzuki Boulevard M50 with only 6k miles. I've never been much into cruisers but it's comfortable and meets my basic transportation needs. It's an 800cc V-Twin, but the funny thing is that the power/weight ratio is actually nearly identical to my old Ninja 250.

While the bike is fine, I have confirmed that I'm not really a cruiser guy and find myself wanting a lighter bike with better handling, more power, and ABS.

I'm stuck between a mid-size ADV like a V-Strom or a naked like an SV650.

The practical side of me says ADV - I'd like to be able to take my son on rides, do some moto-camping, and hit some easy trails over in Ocala, FL. I just think they're ugly and I've never ridden one, I see a lot of people talk about how tall and top-heavy they are. Height isn't really an issue, I'm 6'1", but not sure how they feel.

My heart says naked/sport and realistically I will be riding solo on pavement around town for 95%+ of my time. Everyone raves about the SV650 in particular.

I'm looking at these two right now. I'm a new rider but want to do some light off roading on the weekends and use this to commute to work.

Which the whole drive is basically highways ranging from 75mph and 65mph.

Of course for my sake I will do back roads until I am completely confident to do higher speeds.

I hear sometimes to get the Transalp and run it in rain mode until you are comfortable.

Have a 1200GS, considering something smaller to ride with my wife on her Honda monkey….

But it’s also a good excuse for any bike I might want as a second hint hint “wife… this bike is so I can ride with you”

I started riding this season on an '06 Suzuki gs500 and have had some mechanical issues with it, leading me towards selling it, as well as the previous owner having removed the fairings. I'm looking to buy another bike next season that has more of a sporty type feel, without putting insurance through the roof, or me through a tree.

I've been looking in the 650 cc category, specifically at bikes like the ninja 650, sv650s, and (the oddball) the v-strom 650. As a rider around 20, what should I get?

If it helps, if insurance wasn't a factor, I'd want something like an aprillia rs 660, or the tuano 660

- 125cc to 800cc

- easy to work on/maintain at home

- ABS would be a bonus

- I like scooters

- preferably not a cruiser

- relatively cheap

I’ve been wanting to buy a bike for the last like 5 years. The first choice that comes to mind is the Hi speed freedom. Yamaha, Suzuki and Honda’s bikes do fall in the same piece bracket but they haven’t changed much in the last 10 or so years. I have a budget of 5 lacs. Would highly appreciate if y’all could share your experience with Hispeed bikes.

Been looking at getting a NC750 but any new models are only in the DCT. Does anyone know how to get a manual version? Could I just ask a dealer to custom order one or have them replace the DCT with the manual?

Hello reddit! Im 181cm 84kg guy in his early thirties. This is my first season of riding. I passed my license in the beginning of the summer. I'm in Europe and was learning on a MT07 and after passing bought myself a MT09 2015 with ABS.

Long story short - it's always been my dream bike and I wanted to get a gen4 but alas nothing was available at the time so I bought a 2015 instead without thorough research.

So Im twisties kind of guy and driving mostly outside of the city and I'm starting to realize why it's not a beginner friendly bike and why gen1 was worse choice compared to gen4.

On the corners I have mixed feelings about front wheel and throttle is jerky unless it's in B mode. I'm happy with the bike overall but I feel like it's making learning curve much more difficult than it needs to be. I'm considering a new bike for my next season but with a stepdown and a supersport ergonomics.

What do you think I should go for? I'm eying RS660 with all the driver aids and cost to what you get value, however I'm open to suggestions. Maybe I need to go further down instead like Zx4r or equivalent?

At the moment I focus a lot on taking good lines and cornering, yet I still have about 0.8-1cm "chicken strips" as Im afraid to lean the bike further as It completely feels uninspired by my front feedback. I'm planning to take some track days in the near future hoping to learn more.

P.S. I don't have any other moped or bike experience, only mountainbike on trail riding.

Just got my full license and looking to upgrade from my YBR125 in a year (if I can hold out).
I kinda want to work on the bike myself.

The ybr is quite fine because I like country roads but when happening on a 70-80kph road I can’t pass cars going well below the speed limit safely.

I’ve kinda boiled it down to the Scram 411 or the single cylinder F650GS.
The Himalayan would probably be fine too but I’m kinda afraid the bigger front wheel will make it less fun on roads.

Anyway, any suggestions here between the two?
The RE have kinda captured my heart when I sat on it. I’ve also followed many YouTubers running on it.

One thing I kinda want to prioritize is having the least “buzzy” high frequency vibrations as possible on a single. My YBR does get kinda buzzy around 6-7000 RPM (which is where I often touch).

I get that single cylinders are buzzy by nature but if one is less than another it’s a bonus ;)

Other than that the RE is newer but the BMW seems bullet proof… decisions.
It will probably be easier to test ride the RE at a dealer near me than finding the BMW.

I’m a bit afraid that I will get into the same issue with overtaking with the RE that I have with my YBR (but I get that there’s quite some difference in acceleration between my 125 and the scram)

My purpose is 80% city riding along with Weekend Touring of 100-150 kms and once a month tour of more than 300Kms.

In all of the above bikes I really like Honda Hness but the issue is that the nearest Bigwing wing is 150km away and I am having a transferable job.

I also like Ronin 225 but the seat length is small so I would not be able to sit comfortably with my wife.

I also like Meteor but the high end torque is not good and I do not like the foot position.

Classic 350 is good but weight is high.

I need guidance on what I should do as I am too confused now.

Hello, I’ve been riding for a few months (literally every day) and am comfortable with my Rebel 500 now. I ride on rural asphalt roads that goes for 10km at a time with constant curves and hills (fun) with no traffic control. I can safely take the corners at 50-60km/hr.

I would like to buy a second bike and use my Rebel 500 as a backup or during rainy days. I see the Rebel 500 as a toy to learn maintenance and play around with (already modded out and first break in maintenanced myself).

I have been watching YouTube and researching several hours a night and change my mind every week on an Indian Scout, Harley Fatbob, Triumph Bobber, Ducati Diavel, Ducati Streetfighter, CB650/1000R, XSR 700/900 or another retro bike.

I don’t think I should get another cruiser since I already have one? I read that sports bikes are fun on curved roads, and would prefer a naked or retro. I want something that has a lot of torque right away as I really feel the Rebel 500’s limit.

Would like to hear from the pros.

Mais a ce prix , ce niveau de finition et toutes les options qu’on peut avoir sur une bécane … comment ne pas craquer ?
2 collègues ont respectivement 35k et 42k km sur leur 800 MT et mtx. Et la majorité des avis relatent une bonne fiabilité
Je reste quand même fondamentalement attaché aux japonaises , d autres sont dans ce cas et hésitent à passer chez Cf ?

Test rode the Tracker 400, KTM ADV 390(350cc) and the guerilla 450 today.

Please help me decide which one to buy( I liked the guerilla so much in the second gear I ended up booking it)
I have a few months waiting to reconsider my decision.
Obviously I liked the guerilla 450 over these two, but now I am in a delusion if I did the right purchase

I am a 18 year old male having fair enough riding experience of riding the yamaha MT 15 and the RE Himi Scram 411 belonging to my father. I would be riding bije daily 25-30 kms in Peak Mumbai traffic and also weekend fun rides

1. The GRR 450 is the most expensive out of these three, and also would require the most maintaining imo.
   
2. I need a city traffic commuter as that is also a purpose that the bike would have to serve.
   
3. Would the guerilla be very expensive and attention seeking to me in terms of fuel and servicing?

Pls give out yall’s opinions as it would help me out a lot and also feel free to suggest me any other bike other than these three.
