This is VERY different than what we’ve been hearing so far, so here are few excerpts from the story:
Houston Texans general manager Nick Caserio maintained Tuesday that the conversations with quarterback C.J. Stroud’s representation, David Mulugheta, on a contract extension have been productive. But he also said if a new deal is not made prior to the regular season, then those talks would likely be tabled until after the regular season.
“This is just my sense,” Caserio said of the conversations. “I could be wrong. We’ll keep working through it.”
League sources, who were granted anonymity to speak freely, said the Texans and Stroud’s camp are not far off on what they think Stroud’s contract terms should look like and how much he should be paid per year.
Getting a deal done before the season opener remains an option.
However, neither side is in a rush to get a deal done before the season, two sources said, which increases the likeliness than it will probably happen next offseason.
One source close to Stroud said they believe the quarterback will have an improved season in 2026 — something the Texans would welcome.

This is literally our cleanest uniform combo imo. Especially with the white socks.

I made a post not long ago asking about streaming all of the Texans games. It's just a little overwhelming. I'm in Dallas, and sometimes I think some of my local channels pick up the games. My current issue is with the official "Where to watch" website. They don't show you where they're streaming these games until it gets closer.
Another issue I face is streameast and similar websites, I'm all for the free streaming. It's just a pain when it randomly drops mid-game, and the streaming quality is just not great. I really want to make use of my new tv T.T
I guess my questions are:
If any of you are in DFW, how have you watched all the games last year or previously?
Which services are worth buying to at least guarantee a majority of the games?
Is my wallet going to just have to suffer this time around? :/
