DISCUSSION Am I crazy for not wanting a "comic accurate" Punisher costume?

I saw a lot of people talking about the punisher suit after that concept art for BND came out, and don't get me wrong, the white gloves and boots are cool if you're dressing a superhero, but I really don't think it fits for the character, at least not how he's been handled in the MCU. I digress I haven't read the comics, but frank's not a superhero, his whole thing is that he isn't afraid to get blood on his hands, and he doesn't care about public image, no? So why would he have white gloves and boots? he would be constantly having to wash and replace them. And I'm not big on the tight shirt either, I just think the militaristic look with all black and the plate carrier fits the character much better

Do we know exactly what crimes will make frank decide to kill somebody because i bet he won’t kill somebody for stealing small stuff that’s essential to live or he probably won’t cap someone for pickpocketing he’ll probably just break there hand

DISCUSSION Frank Castle, The Punisher, is paragon of Lawful Good. But many people don't see that because he is also edgy.

I'm going coming mostly from Garth Ennis's run of The Punisher. What made me fall in love with him. As a quick summary Frank Castle is the identity of a super hero called The Punisher. Frank was a war veteran who lost his family after drive by shooting in a picnic at a park. The guy the mafia wanted to shoot was behind his family, so they just fired through them and drove off. He did not form a secret identity after that, he just adopted the name Punisher, put a skull on his chest, and used his gun expertise as a war veteran to kill criminals.

What's edgy is his heroics are not reactive. He does not wait for criminals to do something and show and shoot them. He stalks them, figures out where they and their bodies live, and than kills them all. He fights 'dirty', gun shots to the back of the head, explosive traps. He will torture them to get information.

The vibe is edgy. Detailed gore, piles of bleeding bodies. Frank looks like a fucking serial killer who is anything but "sane". Yet he is undoubtle lawful good. He has a strict code (like Batman) except the code is not no kill but "never let evil go unPunished" and he is careful to never harm good people. He has devotes every waking hour to that code. He is meticulous to never accidently harm the innocent. He has no selfish desires or goals beyond avenging his family. He has no need for material possessions beyond food, a place to sleep, and a frightening quantity of fire arms. It's almost monk-like. And the people he kills are unquestionable evil. Drug lords that push cocaine on teenagers just to make a few more books. Human traffickers engaged in modern day slave trades. Heartless gang members who's endless turf wars kill the innocent. They are not like Batman villains where they might be sympathetic or even a little cool. His bad guys just straight up irredeemable monsters that destroy everything good and have never cared about anyone or anything other than themselves. How could he not be lawful good?

But the vibes of it. The scary skull, the black trench coat, the frightening body shape Frank, and the merciless, horrific ways that he destroys evil: with a realistic looking and sounding gun. It's hard to accept that he is in the same alignment as Super Man or a White Knight Paladin. But he is. He's just edgy.

\*****************************EDIT*****************************\**
I am using the DnD definition of Lawful which doesn't mean "obeys the law" but 'orderly'. Laws change with zip codes.

And yes I know Frank is breaking the law by being vigilante. In fact in some cities even wearing a mask outside is a crime (it's classified as menacing). All super heroes are vigilantes and thus criminals. Except Adam West Batman. He was deputized for being such a good boi!!!

Just finished Netflix The Punisher Season 1, really enjoyed it and oh boy that mirror scene was gruesome, but yet kinda funny.
