nah, but for real, when I'm trying to do heterotrophic builds, I end up having a hard time surviving in my patches because I seem to attract H2S meteors to them and I refuse put H2S synthesizing proteins or chemoplasts in my cells to counter these generations of high H2S because by nature it changes the niche I am playing for as those are aberrantly autotrophic proteins and organelles. It also makes no sense that you need a tolerance to O2 and not H2S as both are dangerous to cell anatomy. If this is not a feature planned to be covered at all by the dedicated dev team, I might just learn C# and implement the feature myself lol

Is it supposed to work like this?

I sometimes believe these numbers mean the population I have at these patches, and not the energy there. Not sure how many other people look at this without too much thought and think that, but I think it must be common, right?

Note that it is on a Sunday rather than the usual Saturday stream.

There are 13 species in this patch, only half of them are showing up on the food chain, there aren’t any predators, and I don’t even get assigned a role most of the time. I know that this is the multicellular stage and it isn’t finished yet, but I have the exact same issue in the Microbe stage. Has anyone else had this issue, is it just an issue with the food chain or is there a problem with the auto-evo? Or am I just playing the game wrong?

A little funky guy I like to make for my multicellular builds in real games, however my most recent save isn't there yet, so I made it in the sandbox editor. might not be the most efficient, so I'd like y'all's opinion. Especially if I made a mistake somewhere that makes this specific iteration actually terrible lol

News in the land of Thrive music!

Recently we compiled a new full soundtrack containing music for every Thrive Stage, so we decided to update the soundtrack on Steam accordingly. Previously, it only contained the soundtrack for the completed Microbe Stage. A few previously missing Microbe Stage tracks have also been included. The soundtrack is now over 4 hours long in total runtime.

I've noticed a recurring visual bug/inconsistency in the Evolution Tree UI, and I wanted to report it here to see if it's a known issue or if I should submit a formal bug report.

The Issue: Normally, when a species goes extinct, its branch on the evolution tree correctly ends with a red dot (indicating a dead end). However, for some extinct species, the branch just ends abruptly with a flat straight line, missing the red dot completely.

In the attached image (see the purple arrows):

• Top arrow: Preminela pelama goes extinct and correctly gets the red dot.
• Bottom arrow: Rhomensis veciaola is also completely extinct (population is exactly 0), but its line just cuts off suddenly without the red indicator.

Important Context to Prevent Confusion:

• Vanilla Game: This happens in the completely unmodded (vanilla) base game. It is not caused by any third-party mods.
• Confirmed Extinct: Both species marked in the image are 100% extinct.

It seems the UI engine occasionally fails to render the red dot for certain extinct branches. Has anyone else encountered this UI bug?

And how? Also will the Macroscopic stage feature the aquatic stage? If so how long would it take as a quess to the reach the ''Creature'' stage ie the land macroscopic stage?
