Miscellaneous Objects Changing my name (from a tragedeigh) to another tragedeigh?
I'm a victim of that "combine you and your loml's names to create the perfect baby name šš" trend. As fate needed new material for her standup comedy routine, they are divorced.
They also gave me a wackass last name. It's a horrible name and yes I was bullied cause of it.
Changed for anonymity, it's violently googleable. But something like Mary and John married and was bestowed with a wonderful first daughter, āØRosejoma PrincessyāØ.
I go by Rosie and almost no one knows my full name.
I'll be married soon, and I'm taking my husband's last name for obvious reason. It would be homophone to Rose Moore.
But I'm thinking of having fun with it? Might as well as get a funny name. Perhaps something like Roseted Park Moore, for Roasted Pork? In all honesty this is just funny because my husband is muslim and fell in love with bacon after accidentally eating one. It's his forbidden apple.
Is that too crazy? Or perhaps I do a middle ground and get a middle name that will make me laugh? Rosalie Pterodactyl Moore? Rose Wine Moore? Feel free to drop wild-ahh name suggestions, thanks!

in the wild Haizlie š„“
A girl I went to high school with is naming her baby Haizlie. Overall I think it's a stupid name however it's spelled but this spelling specifically takes the cake.

pet names Passera, but with four syllables.
Okay, so I work in VetMed and tragedeighs are a *whole thing* - animals really take the brunt of our poor naming choices.
Aaaanyway, this isn't the worst, but it's one that I was reminded of today.
Client had a pet called Passera. All the documents for the pet had the name spelled this way. So, all our documentation for the pet followed suit.
You'd think this was pronounced Pass-sarah, right?!
Wrong.
Every time we referenced Passera, we would get corrected by the owner - "It's Puh-sah-ree-uh"
Babe, it would be spelled Passaria if that's the case, but sure.
Passera. Pronounced Passaria.

tragedy (not tragedeigh) āRue Bella Jayneā
Post from a relative of one of my coworkers that came across my feed, who is infamous in their family for coming up with ridiculous names. She also has a son named Corduroy which isnāt as bad as Rue bella

is it a tragedeigh? I need to know the origin
An acquaintance of mine and her husband named their son, Tonan (toe - nun).
Iāve looked online everywhere and all that comes back is corrections for the name Ronan.
For my own sanity I NEED to know if there are historical or familial roots in this name; otherwise, Iām left to be concerned this boy is destined to be the butt of all high school foot fetish jokes.

is it a tragedeigh? Bayleaf
Kinda just daydreaming names for a second child, fingers crossed Iām not jinxing this very early pregnancy, and who knows the sex yet! Laurel is a special family name Iād love to use, but itās not custom to name after the living in my family, and it doesnāt sound great with my last name. Daphne means Laurel, which I like. So does Bay Leaf, or just Bay. Love the sound of Bay Leaf. Bayleaf as one word signals itās a name, but would this be a tragedeigh? And/or sound trying-too-hard for nature vibes?
Thanks in advance for your opinions!

tragedy (not tragedeigh) Encountered at my Library today:
A family was near me and the kid kept getting called āLeviā by his grandpa and it was all cute! (I really really like that name, have considered it for my own kids)
And just before I left, I heard mom say sternly āLeviathan!ā
It may very well be a human name, Iām not sure, but I do know the only thing around me with that name is a big rollercoaster ride.
I canāt explain the heartbreak of witnessing a tragedy that alters one of your favourite names š I donāt think I could even use it anymore since all Iād think is Leviathan
