RUNNING TRAIN Easy texture modding of "Running Train" allows for some... unorthodox liveries.
All based off PKP EN57 liveries - classic PKP blue and yellow, cult PKPPR crimson and KM green, white and yellow.
I am not sorry and therefore I do not promise to not make any more.

Just needs to make an almighty bang as it sets off, then make conversations impossible above 90kph!

i am a firm believer in that the universe got set in motion with the EN57 bang.

Now this is something that RT does better than train sim world... an actually good livery editor...

I mean, the "good livery editor" is just whatever graphics program you decide to use lol. I used Inkscape and with the templates provided, it was a breeze, though there are some things I am not a fan of (painting grab rails in a different colour results in the bodywork under to be the same colour as the grab rail). Also the fact the KC85 (or how it was called) has half its side permamently textured as stainless steel doesn't really make my bed, as I think it really limits what can be done. But that's prototypical, as real KiHa 85 also has unpainted sides, so I'll suck it up lol.

Sweet!
Honestly, I like it when you can pull the texture out and edit the raw texture file, TSW makes you use stupid layers, I just wish I could pull the raw texture file out and touch it up in there.

SimRail x Running Train, the crossover I didn't know I needed!
In all seriousness I do love the creative freedom the developer has given us. And the smooth as butter experience of rail simming in Japan on modern hardware that isn't a 720p video with controls overlaid.
