ID Request Can anyone help identify what type of Palm this was in Central Florida?

Central Florida. I live in an HOA and it has to be replaced with an identical or I have to go through the approval process. Died this past winter along with many others in the area.

It looks close to a triple Foxtail, but something feels slightly different than a foxtail. Close to an Alexander also, but nearly positive it is not an alexander. Also thought maybe Christmas, but I think Christmas fronds were thicker. Though I can't totally remember what this looked like when alive.

Thanks!

Newbie here. Brooklyn NY which makes me think it would be a London Plane, but the fruit appears to be single stemmed? Let me know your thoughts, thank you!

Solved! Trying to identify this sapling that emerged from my raised bed.

I initially thought it was a peony, or something a squirrel dropped that sprouted. I did put some cut branches in the bottom of the bed before covering with soil. Is it possible that one of those put out roots and started growing again?

I recently bought a house in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and moved in and I was wondering what type of tree this is. It looks kinda like an avacado tree but it has no fruit and it has scattered pink bulbs or flowers that have yet to bloom.

ID Request 3 elms in a row...but *what type* of elms? SW Ontario

These are likely all the same type of elm, but captioned them with which is which (1 2 and 3) just for good measure.

I feel like every time I walk past a big elm with small leaves I write it off as a siberian elm (too cold for cedar elms up here). Not sure if this is a safe bet or not

Solved! Found by the side of a old building, central-city, sidewalk.

City is Nürnberg, Germany.

I am currently looking for a tree for my shopping cart garden on my balcony.

I already cut the root down a huge chunk and re-planted it.

Anybody can clearly identify what it is, I don't trust AI Identifications 100% over Human Identifications, so here I am.

This is a tree that volunteered itself in my garden this year. I isolated it to this seeding pot once i realized it wasn't a weed. I asked on another sub and I'm getting 2 separate ids. I live in southeast Virginia.

Advice Can anyone identify this tree, plant, bush?

I bought this "tree" several years ago and have transplanted it several times to get a good location. It LOVES this spot. The purple leaves and red flowers are really cool. Just curious what it is. I'm in Pittsburgh.

This has been a mystery among my family for a few years now. A couple of friends who work as naturalistsw were over for a cookout and they settled on it possibly being a black olive. I’m skeptical as I’ve never seen the little “fruits” they’re known to have. Any thoughts are appreciated!

(Sorry I only have Google street view images)

Saw this tree in Street View and wanted to know what it was. The most recent street view imagery taken in 2025 shows it is very visibly dying, but earlier passes in 2014 and 2012 show it still alive and well. All street view imagery was taken in August-September of 2012, 2014, and 2025.

The 2012 imagery in particular shows it may be two trees that conjoined together rather than a double trunked single tree? (See image 5.)

Thanks for any help!

Solved! Tree of Heaven?

It used to bloom but then the main tree died. It has sent up saplings over the last 2 years, however this tree is nowhere else in our fields.

I simply maintain it as our minis donks ignore it except for butt scratches and shade. The horses also have never been interested in it.

PS: I was wearing gloves because I was originally eradicating a patch of pokeberry that appeared after a few weeks of rain :(!
