Solved! Trying to identify this sapling that emerged from my raised bed.
galleryI initially thought it was a peony, or something a squirrel dropped that sprouted. I did put some cut branches in the bottom of the bed before covering with soil. Is it possible that one of those put out roots and started growing again?
