Question

Is it true UAlbany early action acceptance rate is much higher than regular descion?
(Also is the school hard to get into?)

i am not sure about the acceptance rates but in my opinion those stats do not say much. ualbany is known to over accept students every year so either/or should not be considered if you are trying to see if you will get in. the school is very easy to get into especially if you apply early and have a good application. i applied late and was wait listed. i sent a letter of continued interest then i was accepted the next day. it’s very easy.

Okay thank you so much and is there a standard gpa you should have at the bare minimum to be admitted

i would say they accept 80s but they look at everything on your application especially your essay and extracurriculars. during my time at ualbany i met some valedictorians and some people i couldn’t believe they made it to college. it’s a mixed batch. but don’t think about it too much it’s not all about grades!!

They take anyone. Whether you get a degree is your choice.
