The women that are understanding or blaming the man are demonic. Plain evil and should be avoided.

u/AnnArchist 3h ago

The man lost his wife and 3 children and somehow he is subjected to some of the most severe online bullying I've ever seen.

Anyone blaming Patrick is truly evil.

Can u tell me why he’s definitely not guilty? Ik he isn’t but my sister thinks he is and I’m not caught up on the whole thing

9

u/bassick81 2h ago

She admitted to killing them, and is arguing she was not criminally responsible because of her mental state at the time. Not sure how anyone thinks the husband did it

1

u/Alextaoluu 1h ago

I’ve learned there’s a surprising amount of femcels on reddit back when FDS existed, I’m sure they still exist on here, we just don’t know where they congregate now, well probably a chunk of GirlDinnerDiaries, but I’ve seen that that subreddit seems to have them under control

5

u/AnnArchist 2h ago

Because she is using an affirmative defense. To claim insanity, you have to acknowledge that you did it.

If her lawyer or anyone else believed he did it, it would be far far easier to prove reasonable doubt by providing another suspect than it is to prove NGRI.

They stipulated the fact that she did it.

3

u/Cross1625 2h ago

Its tiktok rot conspiracy bs that isn't even a good conspiracy. If there was a chance he killed them that would be her defense, but instead she admitted to killing them but claiming mental illness as her defense.

2

u/albinoblackman 1h ago

The Reddit version would be something like “Has anyone even asked where Israel was that night?”

1

u/therealkami 2h ago

The only thing I've seen where he could even be considered culpable is that she had apparently told him she was having issues/mental break (so she was cognizant something was wrong) and rather than stay with his family, he left on a planned trip. The argument is that if he wasn't dismissive of the issue/stayed with his family, he could have stopped it, I guess.

But also that's not relevant, because he's not on trial right now. If he's culpable of a crime, then he needs to be arrested and tried.

The person on trial has straight up admitted to killing the kids. All of the evidence points to her killing the kids. There should be no question that she's found guilty of a crime related to killing kids, and receive the consequences related to that.

u/Some_Visual1357 1h ago

Im sorry for your sister. She got her brain infected with the leftist corruption.

2

u/SlevenXander 1h ago

What a stupid thing to say...

0

u/Some_Visual1357 1h ago

Is there any arguments or you just want to insult me?

-2

u/Legal_Peak9558 1h ago

Similar to what’s happening to Erika Kirk, just evil.

26

u/Riv3rJordan 2h ago

I’ve seen him being called negligent and he needed to help more. Mind you he was helping by picking up medication for the kid and dinner for the family. Because she asked him to. So she could murder the kids. And somehow people think he was the problem and not the mom who murdered the kids. You can not win with some people

1

u/StOPcRyingYaBaby 1h ago

You didn’t hear? Everything is the man’s fault always in every situation

u/PresenceWooden6831 0m ago

I was just about to say that.

0

u/DontStalkMeNow 2h ago

To me it’s indicative of just how entitled a lot of women are in these scenarios.

We are not in a good place as a society as far as our expectations and behaviour goes.

0

u/Vetchemh2 1h ago

Its the consequences of our society infantilizing women their entire lives

-1

u/Vetchemh2 1h ago

The simple fact is that he could be the most demonic mf in existence and she STILL didnt need to strangle those poor babies

36

u/SemperSalam 3h ago

The same thing happened during the Carmelo Anthony murder trial. You had a lot of black people claiming his innocence and blaming the victim. Now we have white women defending a x3 child murderer. Something is wrong here.

6

u/onwisconsin1 1h ago

In today's media environment and the lack of centralized local socializing, this is going to happen. People get into their echo chambers, no one pushes back, and people come out of the echo chamber with extreme views.

Its important to note this happens with men and white people too. Peoples view of events are colored by their identity and need to belong to a group. No human is exempt from having their worst biases reinforced by an echo chamber. You are on reddit after all.

u/mmm_burrito 56m ago

This should be a pinned comment in most threads on most sites.

5

u/Latter_Antelope_6524 2h ago

Yea, 15 witnesses and eventually a video wasn’t enough to get people to stop parroting “them white boys was jumping him!”

1

u/House-of-Spears 2h ago

Kalergi plan

2

u/Medium-Following-513 1h ago

The fuck?

Did nobody tell you Patrick Clancy was a gemini or do you just think forensic astrology is a joke???

THE "MOON WAS -22 DEGREES THAT NIGHT. KILL OR BE KILLED".

Thats a real quote BTW. Some cunt actually said the moons temperature meant the kids were trying to kill the parents so they had to strangle them to death one at a time. What the fuck has tiktok done to people.

1

u/bigloudbang 1h ago

Being understanding is plain evil? Isn't that what the whole trial is about?

-117

u/Used-Persimmon-367 4h ago

Understanding = demonic?

80

u/pm_me_ur_burnttoast 4h ago

You're questioning why someone would call them understanding why a woman strangled her 3 children to death would be demonic?

7

u/Alternative_Dust241 3h ago

Remember when Tony’s wife said Tony was tearing apart the fireplace looking for spy cameras and throwing holy water on her while she slept? People were speculating he had CTE or schizophrenia worsened by CTE. This would be in the same vein.

Everyone wants to play doctor but the insanity plea exists in cases of psychosis which can happen with hormonal changes after giving birth. There was a case of a woman microwaving her baby bc she said the devil told her too. There’s being a bad person and there’s being clinically insane which is why the insanity plea exists.

11

u/Zar7792 3h ago

Yeah, but were people blaming his wife for his CTE and attacking her for it?

0

u/Random-Redditor111 1h ago

Anyone who commits murder is “insane”. There’s no such thing as “clinically insane” as an actual medical disorder. Insanity isn’t a disorder listed in the dsm. It’s a legal term.

Why do people who are completely clueless on a matter talk like they know something? Ooh, I like this murderer - “clinically insane!” But hey, make sure you keep this same energy and support that delivery driver who raped and killed the 6 year old.

u/Alternative_Dust241 58m ago

Idk what you’re talking about.

2

u/YCJamzy 4h ago

I think it’s poor wording. Sounds like they’re saying understanding the man is demonic

16

u/Snelly1998 4h ago

Commas people

Let's eat grandma

Let's eat, grandma

-3

u/Nous-erna-me 4h ago

It's worded correctly. Reading comprehension is the problem here.

8

u/Snelly1998 4h ago

The correct wording is

The women that are understanding, or blaming the man are demonic

That comma separates the man from the understanding

1

u/YCJamzy 3h ago

I feel it would be better as

“The women that are understanding this woman, or blaming the man”

-1

u/Kryptosis 3h ago

Understanding and blaming can’t be connected with an Or in this case as they’re opposites?

4

u/Snelly1998 3h ago

Without the comma, you are

"understanding or blaming the man"

The adjectives understanding and blaming, are tied to the man in this scenario. The two options are understanding the man, or blaming the man

6

u/YCJamzy 4h ago

It’s worded like dogshit. Punctuation is important.

35

u/YouJellyz 4h ago

To be in support of a woman who strangled her 3 kids is demonic, yes.

-1

u/michaelfrieze 3h ago edited 3h ago

Are people really supporting this woman? I honestly haven't seen much of that.

I've seen some women say she should be committed to a mental hospital rather than sent to prison, but that's about it.

I've also seen some women say her husband was a pretty terrible husband and may have played a role in what happened, but I haven't seen women saying the kinds of things this subreddit is claiming they are.

I'm sure those kinds of generalizations exist somewhere, but they don't seem to be common.

12

u/YouJellyz 3h ago

Do you live under a rock? Go on tiktok you'll find thousands upon thousands of women saying she's innocent and blaming the husband.

13

u/Anonymous_Otter22 3h ago

Yes. I will stay under my rock, I've never heard any of this.

Now back to my rock.

1

u/Used-Persimmon-367 1h ago

Yet another comment saying it’s happening without providing any proof.

I’m not doubting you. Enough of you have said it that I’m sure it’s occurred at least a few times. But the way yall are talking about it seems like it’s some majority of the population.

That’s makes about as much sense as me blaming you, a Redditor, for the craziest things Redditors have said or done.

0

u/michaelfrieze 3h ago

Maybe I do live under a rock because I don't get on tiktok. Mostly just twitter, facebook, and reddit. I even checked out the feminist subreddits and didn't see a lot of women saying this.

4

u/Fug1x 3h ago

i dont even have social media and i seen loads of it , you are living under a rock

3

u/michaelfrieze 3h ago

More likely, you're just not being very charitable in how you interpret what other people are saying. You slightly disagree with something someone says, and then jump to an extreme generalization about what they believe.

2

u/YouJellyz 3h ago

Here is two saying she is innocent and the husband framed her. Both have 100k+ likes and thousands of comments blaming the husband.

https://www.tiktok.com/@loristephensontx/video/7677051417118526734

https://www.tiktok.com/@kandisstarr/video/7671737153344507149

Thousands of other videos like this one cheering on this baby killer.

1

u/michaelfrieze 1h ago

I'm sorry but I don't have time to watch a 42-minute video of some lady rambling on tiktok. Maybe you can summarize it.

The other clip is a little over 2 minutes long, so I watched that one. This woman is trying to make this into some conspiracy. She's an idiot, but I wouldn't say she's demonic and she's not even blaming the husband. She doesn't believe this woman killed her kids, so she's not in support of woman murdering their children.

I don't really put a lot of value on number of comments or likes. Everything on the internet is extremely botted these days. You can't trust those numbers.

Although, I will say that I'm glad I'm not on tiktok.

0

u/Fug1x 3h ago edited 3h ago

look how silly your being, theres whole crowds of women cheering the baby killer likes shes a celebrity

Lol of course you went silent and just downvoted when shown facts

0

u/michaelfrieze 1h ago

What evidence? The gif you shared means nothing to me.

I haven't downvoted a single post, so I have no clue what you are talking about. Believe it or not, I have a job so I can't respond to every post immediately.

Although, I will downvote you for acting like a child.

u/ccurnowphoto 1h ago

You can literally just watch the news and see hundreds of people dressed in pink outside the trial supporting her

3

u/vl0x 3h ago

It’s crazy how much nuance has lost its meaning in general society today.

13

u/InvisibleHook 4h ago

Understanding how someone could choke 3 kids to death is demonic. Post partum and mental health issues does not mean you get to strange your 3 children.

10

u/JimmyTwoSticks 4h ago

There's a difference between saying she should "get to" (???) strangle her kids and understanding the conditions that may have led to her doing that.

This isn't exactly a brilliant corner of the internet though and I wouldn't expect nuance here.

1

u/Best-Chicken2889 3h ago edited 3h ago

man this is beyond stupid and tarded, a boy gets bullied, he grabs a gun andsprays bullets everywhere killing 5 students should he be absolved in a jury? sure improve awareness and add mechanisms to reduce bulling but put that fucker in the slammer he is clearly not safe for the rest of the people its the same with her that bitch is definetly too volatile to be allowed free in public

12

u/JimmyTwoSticks 3h ago

Do you think there would be any benefit in learning about why that person was able to and chose to kill 5 people?

Or should we all get in a big cry baby thoughts and prayers circle?

2

u/Local-Blueberry1470 2h ago

There’s already a group of people dedicated to find out why people commit heinous acts like this. They’re called forensic psychologists.

1

u/JimmyTwoSticks 2h ago edited 2h ago

Sorry but now that it's been pointed out to me that the trial isn't even over I can't take the people here seriously.

Modern men have turned into emotional mush. Absolutely some of the most pathetic opinions possible. I wish I hadn't wasted my precious time on the shitter responding to dumbass anime fans and basement dwellars.

Bring back stoicism.

1

u/LondonIsAShithole 1h ago

Stoicism lmao alright Marcus Manosphere Aurelius.

1

u/JimmyTwoSticks 1h ago

The manosphere is the opposite of stoicism lmao

> can’t take the people here seriously

> modern men

Reddit, let alone this subreddit, does not represent modern men. Get off the internet.

0

u/Best-Chicken2889 3h ago

nobody said dont learn from it learn all you want study it write papers on it but learning why someone did it and letting them walk are two different things you can do the first without the second thats the whole point you are missing

5

u/JimmyTwoSticks 3h ago

My b I didn't realize they let her walk free. Haven't been following that closely. That's surprising but I guess we will probably learn more about the evidence and why.

3

u/bliming1 2h ago

They didn't let her walk free. The other reply doesn't know what they're talking about.

2

u/bliming1 2h ago

They aren't letting her walk.. at worst this will be a mistrial and they will redo the case with a new jury.

1

u/Obatala_ 2h ago

Do you know what psychosis is?

Do you care?

0

u/Milsy001 3h ago

If a junkie killed your mum and dad, how nuanced is that situation to you? A lot of poor circumstances in both, and 1 guilty person

1

u/JimmyTwoSticks 3h ago

I'll try and explain this in a way the people here can understand it.

Junkie murderer - bad man, go to jail

Junkies = perhaps we should take a look at the policies that contribute to people ending up as junkies in the first place instead of shoving our heads in the sand and then crying because junkies did junkie things

2

u/Milsy001 3h ago

So you're saying we should examine the poor circumstances? So nuanced my guy, trend setter

1

u/JimmyTwoSticks 3h ago

My b I didn't realize they let her walk free. Haven't been following that closely. That's surprising but I guess we will probably learn more about the evidence and why.

5

u/Capn-Taco CertifiedRatKiller 3h ago

Approving and understanding of an action are two completely different things. People do awful things during mental health crises. People should not be able to do awful things during these crises because in a perfect world, they received the help they needed before reaching a terrible breaking point.

1

u/mxlplyx2173 3h ago

Yes. And you too, since you have the same mentally deficient brain. I don't hope for it, but you'll "understand" when a family member of yours gets murdered by someone who needs understanding.

1

u/Used-Persimmon-367 1h ago

When will you understand improving mental healthcare would reduce the murder rate?

You’re literally making this argument about something it isn’t. I’m not saying she should be free. She needs to spend her life behind bars, but it would be best if those bars were in an institution that has the resources to properly care for mentally unwell.

1

u/rutuu199 2h ago

Hammer tid tidbit in to your head. SHE STRANGLED 3 CHILDREN TO DEATH! Fuck yeah "understanding" it is demonic.

1

u/Used-Persimmon-367 1h ago

Why do you think it’s demonic?

A horrible thing happened. Seems like the responsible thing would be taking action to making it less likely to happen in the future.

0

u/redditsucksbigly 3h ago edited 2h ago

Yes. "I strangled my three children."

"It's understandable you'd do that..." -> literally what a demon would say

0

u/SomnusHollow 3h ago

Well not really, I can understand why she did it, I can understand the circumstances of how and why it happened. Still she has to take responsibility, you just don't kill people and have no consequences.

0

u/Used-Persimmon-367 1h ago

If only you understood the difference between the words “understand” and “approve”.

She should spend her life behind bars for what she did. We should also try to figure out WHY she did it and HOW we can prevent it in the future.
