Given that's she's currently in a mental health facility on a 1:1 suicide watch I'd reckon she's not going anywhere anytime soon
Okay the minimum sentence for manslaughter in Massachusetts is 2.5 years I'll assume thats not long enough for you either.
Is it the concept of spending the majority of the rest of her life in a mental facility really that troubling to you? Going to bed with that mental picture of bars in front of her face that important?
Because I hate to break it to you, she'd still be in a mental facility even if she's convicted because she's on suicide watch and the state of Massachusetts has those prisoners at state mental health facilities.
I understand you feel that she should be punished, facts be damned but this is how our legal system works.
No one but the most extreme TINY minority is excusing her behavior.
The real condition of postpartum psychosis MIGHT explain her actions but I don't know if a full panel of board certified psychologists would even agree whether she was or wasn't experiencing a psychotic episode.
Every single cell in her body would be different 8 years in the future than they are now, including all the cells of her brain which make up her personality, choices, and memory. In virtue of what do you consider it a time out?

Mfs don’t understand she’s not getting away with anything and will be in prison or a mental health facility for the rest of her life.
