Seriously hate when people say that Islam beat just a 145er Volk

Like this win is pretty insane when you look at it, Volk was on a 12 fight winning streak and was coming off his career best performance against Max Holloway where he 50-45ed him easily

Even after this fight Volk turned around quickly and TKOed Yair

Islam who at this point has been against one elite opponent Oliveira was building up his championship experience and outpointed a guy whos extremely good at winning decisions

And I just dont like how people bring up that he almost lost to Volk, even as a massive Volk fan I cant say that he won this fight at all

The fact Islam outpointed Volk who has WAY more experience at the highest level than Islam is impressive and to this day I think this is his best win

round 2 is close as bitch but santos stole it imo with his punching flurries and that one partially landing high kick

I got my gf to start watching UFC last year starting with UFC 314.
Her favorite fighters are Islam Mackachev, Paddy Pimblett and Diego Lopes. She pretty much got to watch Islam rise in the Welterweight division, we saw him reach goat status together and she thinks he’s nonchalant and a little autistic and kinda cute. This weekend I was trying to explain the story line going into Umar Vs Song and was trying to explain how Khabib was Islam before Islam and tried to explain how great he is. Besides watching his fights is there a piece of media someone can reccomend that shows all of Khabibs story, rise, legacy, personality, rivalries, influence, funny moments etc. if there is please let me know so I can introduce my gf to the eagle 🦅

Justin dosent have very fast hands so he dosent get many clean knockouts with his hands like topuria where the faster your punch with enough force will give the brain inertia while the skull moves very fast and gets knocked out thats why volk and max got koed by topuria without much visible damage on their face but justin has high bone density makes his shots more painful and is like getting hit with a steel rod battering and causes a lot of damage and gets tkos its not the technique or anything his hands dosent have the speed to knock someone out fast but it gets distributed more evenly to the face and causes more damage rather than to a single point where the rotation of the head happens

He dosent stuff his gloves or anything or use some weird technique

Tldr: high bone density makes his shots which are not snappy enough to ko someone cold gets more evenly distributed to the face and causes the massive damage like cuts and bruises

Like getting hit with a heavy pipe slowly hurts for sure but doesn't ko cold

If all goes well, Islam has at least three more fights in him. Keeping that in mind as well as his likelihood of beating these guys, which three would you choose for him to fight?

Would you go for the hardest matchups to see him lose? The easiest to see him win? The most stylistically exciting ones?

Personally, I want to see him fight Morales, Shavkat (who beats Prates coming into the fight) and the MW champ, regardless of whether it's Strickland or Khamzat.

This gives Islam two winnable but difficult matchups against two of the best guys at WW and then a nigh impossible final boss fight because it would be amazing to see Islam try to go for that third belt.

Not the best examples but I honestly thought of these 2 moments.
