Study Permit Concern

For the international students, I'm wondering if you need to pay the first semester tuition in order to get the study permit on arrival. Lwk worried the officer might not give it for that reason

Only paid a fraction of mine but I’ll say, if you’re worried, just pay it before coming ,if you’re able to.

Did you have any problems on arrival even tho you only paid a partial from the fee?

Nope…but that was about 3 years ago

It could be better if you could pay the first year although its not compulsary but it shows the visa officer that you are financially stable.
