residence waitlist

I’m waitlisted for residence at UNB Fredericton and i’m just wondering how likely it is to still get a spot even tho move in day is in less than two weeks? The last update that I got from them was in July 13th saying i am within the next 25 female students ti get a room, but it’s now August 23 and I still haven’t heard from them. I just don’t wanna struggle looking for off campus housing especially since move in day is so soon.

Unfortunately unless someone drops from now until then, most likely all spots are filled as UNB oversells rooms expecting so many to drop and in the past years their expectation of students dropping hasn’t happen as fast or as big as they expected and so the first few weeks maybe even a month the communal lounges/ kitchens are temporarily turned into bedrooms where residences have to live until an actual room opens up. So best advice would be to look for off campus housing just incase
