Pretty much any game with a weapon rarity system.

In BL2 I basically never use Bandit weapons because 90% of them tend to be trash in comparison to hyperion and dahl

Jacobs weapons are better

Depends on what you need. If you need raw non-elemental damage then Jakobs is indeed superior.

But if you need fire rate you're better off with Dahl or Vladof. For Elemental you grab Maliwan, Hyperion or Dahl, for Explosive you grab Torgue or, if things are dire, Tediore.

Bandit only has mag capacity going for it, though their fully automatics can have good fire rate with the right combination of parts.

Hyperion sucks I normally run jakobs, tediore, and vladof or dahl

Hyperion’s reverse recoil is neat but it’s unfortunate that it relies so heavily on your mag capacity and fire rate to work, which ends up killing it.

What manufacturers I stick with depends on the game I’m playing. Like in BL1 tediore weapons are mainstays in my inventory because of the ammo regen on their legendaries, and Jakobs weapons’ absurd crit multipliers in 1 feed well into Mordecai. But if I’m playing TPS, 2, 3 or 4, tediore goes all but completely out the window save for a few legendary weapons with useful effects, or in the case of 4 a good underbarrel and licensed accessory.

I think Jakobs gets the most love out of all the manufacturers because they’ve been the most consistent and have only ever expanded on their gimmick without really gaining any drawback outside of weapon recoil due to the simplicity of their gimmick. In every game I can pick up any Jakobs weapon and count on it to reliably deal a ton of raw damage (compared to equally levelled items of the same type), fire and reload with reasonable speed, alongside usually having a solid crit damage multiplier

I normally play as siren because I love the gameplay

Every manufacturer had their one gimmick. Granted they’ve been expanded on, altered or shuffled around as the franchise went on

Torque for the win. DPUH plus grognozzle will be forever busted.

I started a loyalty run specifically for bandit weapons. My Vault Hunter of choice? Zer0.

I'll make it work through the power of accuracy and damage boosting skills dammit!

You avoid Bandit weapons because they are trash, I embrace Bandit weapons because they are trash.
