Found the little guy eating one of my succulents. He’s been eating spinach. The picture on the left is him now, the picture on the right is him when I first found him. I’m in East Texas if that helps!

I've never seen this before and couldnt find anything similar on Google! At first I thought it was just the rain droplets on its back making the patterns look warped, but no those are the actual patterns it has! Sorry I couldn't keep the camera still with how much I had to zoom in. I'll put some still pictures in the comments (would've put the pics in the post itself but then i wouldn't have been able to include the video). Is this rare??? Regardless, its absolutely beautiful!!!

You'd think that in a species that has a LARGE variety of patterns (all of which consisting of symmetrical spots, splotches, or no patterns) that if there had been one species found that has irregular _lines_ and splotches, that would be pretty easy to find as online. Like if this has been seen before, you'd think it would have gone viral for being so unique, and yet I cant find anything similar anywhere online. Like imagine someone found a rosy maple moth with spots instead of lines, that'd likely go viral and you could easily search "rosy maple moth with spots" and immediately get results (not a perfect analogy but hopefully u get my point).

Never seen any grasshoppers in the area that look like this. It was about the size of my thumb.

Spotted this guy hanging out with my dog Lumi. Lumi was unfazed.

Spider retreated slightly, but very quickly, when I approached it with a glass, but didn’t really move otherwise when I scooped it up to put it outside. Approx. 2.5 in diameter. Wooded rural area south of Ann Arbor MI.

He's not so large.. he's waiting my delicious cotton rags to be left unattended.

Discovered this thing in my yard when moving some things around… are they dangerous? Do they sting? Someone tell me if these things are dangerous before I get rid of them… I’m in nyc btw don’t know if location helps someone identify these, they don’t appear to be wasps or bees but idk I’m just scared

I've had a bit of an infestation of something in my home, and I noticed a small blackhead looking thing, squeezed it and this popped out. Anybody know what this is? Located in South Eastern Mediterranean

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Dermatologist trip tomorrow and a call to the exterminator too, one way or the other!

Hi everyone! I’m trying to identify this tiny bug I’ve been finding in my room and especially around my bed.
I first noticed them about 2 months ago when the weather was extremely hot. At that time, there were quite a few different bugs in my room, and I killed some of these. Recently, I’ve started finding them again.

Some details:
-They’re very tiny, approximately around the size of a sesame seed (maybe 3–4 mm).
-They look dark brown/reddish-brown.
-The body seems elongated and somewhat flat.
-They do not jump.
I haven’t noticed them flying.
-They seem to stick/cling to surfaces, fabric.
-They’re surprisingly difficult to kill/crush.

I’ve found them in different places around the room, including on my bed.
I don’t know whether they bite, as I haven’t noticed anything specifically associated with them.
The attached photo is unfortunately the only photo I have, and it’s not very clear.
At first I wondered if they were fleas, lice, bed bugs, or carpet beetles, but they don’t seem to match the pictures I’ve seen online.
Does anyone recognize this insect or have an idea what it could be? Any help identifying it would be greatly appreciated! 😭

Hoping these aren't termites! Had trouble getting my phone to get them all in focus but you can see the true number of them that were airborne at the 1 minute mark of the video.

Approx 1-1.5" long? Normal-sized smaller ants accompanying them. Really surprised that the whole area & sky was empty less than an hour later. Bats would have had a good time tonight if these guys were still zipping around.
