Question Didn't get co-op. Next steps?

As the title states, I didn't get coop due to my gpa not meeting the requirements. What should I be doing next to make sure I get a internship for next summer? Besides WLU Navigator, where can I apply for internships?

One more elective course needed for Fall 2026!

Guys, I have a 3 core course semester this fall with space for 2 electives, currently I have them all selected with my two electives being GG294 & ES296. As of my understanding if I take GG294 with Kelley McClinchey there are no exams, is that correct?

And as for ES296, this is the one I'm trying to replace and I need some opinions from the people who took it. For the people who took this course in-person, how is it? Is it easy, hard? Is it much harder than ES110? I lowkey couldn't find some other electives like EM202, EM101, as they were all full. Also does anyone have any other suggestions for electives to replace ES296, preferrably second year bird courses?

Question BBA labs experiences

So I believe the only mandatory course that has a lab is BU111 and i think macroeconmics but I js was wondering how do these labs go is it like a group presentation thing and are groups randomly assigned? Do we have to do smth to register ourselves for these or is it already done when creating our schedule automatically? And lastly any experiences or tips or smth u wish u knew related to these business related labs?

I don't have access to an SUV or larger car, will there be a problem if I have 2 ppl bringing a sedan each? Just my desk chair alone will take a lot of space. All my stuff won't fit in one car :/

Help! How do u guys make friends while commuting

So I’m going into my third year now, and I only have one friend from this school. I lived in res during my first year, so I made a couple of friends, but I was at the Brantford campus.

My friend and I decided to switch to the Waterloo campus for our second year, and yeah, I didn’t really make any new friends. I guess you could say I’m kind of scared of putting myself out there.

I would love to join clubs, but I have work every day, and my commute is like 5 hours round trip. I made my schedule so I only have to come to campus 2 days a week. If I had to stay longer after class, I’d probably be late for work since I take the bus.

I’d love to go to clubs or something on Friday or Saturday night, but I don’t even know what I would say to people. I don’t really see myself just talking to people from my class or randomly starting a conversation with someone in the hallway. I dont girl jus seem scary and then guys r jus trynna aura farm or sum shi like they seem kinda cold

Co-op interview

I got a co-op interview, and I was wondering if I still have a good chance even though I didn’t have any extracurricular activities during my first year.

I have several activities from high school, as well as office experience from the past two summers. Do you think I’m okay, or should I be worried about not having any first-year activities?

Any advice or insight would be appreciated!

Coop chances

Hi can anyone chance me for coop? I appreciate it a lot. I’m a second year BBA student btw

GPA: 9.1 - had to retake a course to make progression

No club involvement or extracurricular during first year

Worked the summer before first year full time, worked all of first year part time, worked a 4 month full time internship this summer. All of this is business related finance and accounting.

I also did breaking into wall street this summer

I have a lot of extracurricular and volunteering grade 11-12

Also just a quick question, I applied to coop yesterday on navigator when will I get the email with the next steps?

  • My siblings old 2014 MacBook Air

Need advice quick!!

BBA Co-op

I am starting second year in a week, and I didn’t have any club involvement for most of first year, but I received an executive position around April/May and have been doing work for the club since getting the role.

Would this still count as first-year extracurricular involvement for the co-op interview/application process?

First day of Uni

Kind of a dump and obvious question. On Thursday, September 10, the first day of uni, do we just attend the classes we signed up for that day (Thursdays)? I know the answer may be yes. But, I'm asking because this will be my first year, and I am unsure. Also because that day I'm supposed to have two labs.
