Work-Life Balance and Stress Management Am I overthinking?

I feel like I overshare with my colleague. We work in a remote setup and we both joined at the same time. We have become good friends now but I feel like I share too much with her. I usually talk to a lot of people and it has become a habit of mine to give her the tea as well. How can I limit myself from doing this? Or am I overthinking?

when you work remotely, life can be lonely. If you are having trouble with loneliness at work, you are not alone.  The price for your having a genuine connection with this person maybe you have to dish the tea.

If this resonates with you solve the loneliness problem first.

That makes sense, remote work can blur things when one coworker becomes your main source of connection and conversation

I think that's a valid concern. You can build a great relationship with a coworker but it's also helpful to always be cautious because all the tea you spilled (or personal things you shared) might be used against you in the work place.

If you have time outside of work maybe pick up an activity or two so you can talk to people?
