Hello everyone! I’m getting close to graduating from college, and I’ve had a few classes involving 3D throughout my course. I’m familiar with the basics of Blender and can get around the software, but I feel a bit lost when it comes to figuring out how I should progress from here.
I’d really appreciate some advice on what I should focus on to improve my skills and start learning more advanced techniques. I know that a big part of learning 3D comes from experimenting, trying things out, and working on personal projects, but I’d love to hear from people with more experience: is there anything you think is particularly important to focus on early on? Are there any tutorials, courses, YouTube channels, artists, or other resources you would recommend?
I’m especially interested in environment creation, as well as creatures and character modeling, so any advice or resources related to those areas would be greatly appreciated. I’m basically looking for some sort of roadmap to help me figure out what to learn next and avoid spending too much time going in the wrong direction.
Thanks in advance to anyone willing to share their experience! 😁
