I'm 25 years old, 182cm, 93kg, Male, don't take medication, smoke a bit (60-80 heated tobacco cigs a week around-ish. I work out everyday.

Lately a few months ago, when I would get a cold my left nostril would get really stuffy and it would give me a weird feeling. Kind of a headache, not a strong one but I certainly was feeling something making pressure inside of me.

Today I sneezed this sack like thing from my left nostril. It has a thick membrane and... Weird... It has blood circulation on them which makes me think it should be inside of my right now. (I hope I'm wrong)

The thing is... I'm finally breathing GOOD from my 2 NOSTRILS. I'm just freaking out because I don't know what it is. Its 7/8cm long and 3/4cm wide.

When it came out, I bled a couple drops of blood but nothing biiiig. It stopped after 30 seconds more of less.

Hey everyone. For almost a year my left nostril has been completely blocked, like zero airflow at all. at first it was suspected to be just Nasal polyps but medication did not help. So I Finally got an MRI a few days ago and it showed a large mass, about 4.1cm x 4.4cm x 6.1 cm, in my left nasal cavity that’s spread into some of my sinuses and eaten into some bone.

The written radiology report actually flagged it as “ highly concerning for nasopharyngeal carcinoma”, which was pretty scary to read on my own. But when I talked to my doctor directly, he said he actually thinks it’s more likely JNA (juvenile nasopharyngeal angiofibroma) given my age.

My ent said nexts steps would be a biopsy of the tumour to rule out NPC and help to push my case more urgent. Also, he said he has never seen a case of JNA in his almost 30 year career. Doing some of my own research I’ve learned that JNA is a highly vascular tumour and have read that there is a great risk for a biopsy that would cause severe bleeding and result in more complications like bleeding out. This concerns me because this would be a first for him and he would be the one doing the biopsy.

I also have a appointment booked with a specialist that I was referred to who has more experience with this sorta thing but not for almost two weeks.

I guess my question is should I go ahead with this biopsy with my ent or wait for the specialist to request one if he suspects its NPC and not JNA but have the risk of waiting even longer if it is cancer or risk complications of a vascular tumour. Any and all advice is appreciated.

I’m 19 5’7, 163 lb, is this herpes how do I have this it just appeared out of no where over night no one in my family has it and my girlfriend doesn’t have it

I take 5mg of Lexapro daily, and use an albuterol inhaler when needed for asthma.
I don’t smoke or use any illegal substances and I never have used illegal substances.

I had to have a mouth swab in late July at the office for my medication management for my antidepressants and spoke with my PA-C today to check in and she brought up that I had cocaine in my system at the time of my swab. This was very shocking to me as I’ve never used any illegal substances, including cocaine, in my life. My only drug usage in my life was trying a weed gummy once a couple years ago and smoking weed twice last year. I am so confused and worried as to why I would test positive for cocaine.

Could this be a false positive? How could this happen? How common is this? I don’t really use Reddit, but idk who to ask as I didn’t get clear answers when asking the PA-C. Thanks in advance.

Editing to add, for anyone wondering how I can say that I’ve never used illegal substances but still claim using marijuana twice…it is legal in California and was purchased at a dispensary. Legally. I’m not a regular user of marijuana and haven’t used it since last year.

Hello all, I (24F) have had this mole on my foot for around 5/6 years now. It started off lighter and smaller and got darker and bigger over time. It doesn't itch, burn or bleed and it's completely flat.

I am diagnosed with Hypermobility and I am on the combined contraceptive pill. I have moles all over my body but this one is by far the darkest and biggest. I have one like this on my finger but its lighter and slightly smaller, but still a weird shape like this one.

Is this anything to worry about? I'm unsure if my family has any history of skin cancer but my mother has a lot of moles, even more than me so I'm not sure if this is just a random genetic mole or something else.

My son has been a medical mystery since utero.

I swear everything I'm going to state seems relevant, even if it seems random until the end, so hang in there with me.

Since he was about 4, he would wake me up crying telling me his hips hurt. We would give him meds but they never seemed to do much. We went to the doctor, they ran a test that came back with concerning numbers, but re ran them and they came back ok. They said his cells indicated he was fighting something, which might have accounted for his hip pain, but the pain was now gone and his levels were normal again. Sent us home, no big deal.

The hip pain continued forever. We tried everything. We went to Ortho, we went to rheumatology, no one found anything. It was awful. At one point he had to stop trick or treat and I had to run home to get the car and drive him home while he cried because the pain was so bad.

Finally I found another rheumatologist who figured out his legs were 2 different lengths and he has EDS. We put a riser in his shoe, hip pain stopped. No complaints since.

Rheumatology also said since often his pain accompanies a virus, we should run his levels next time he's sick to see whats what. Unfortunately, we had to run blood for something else, and they accidentally ran the orders from rheumatology too, so those orders were no longer in the system... (This matters in a second)

Then we start with *leg* pain. Not just pain, but numbness. He would say his legs hurt all the time, and then one day he says they don't hurt anymore, now they're just numb. All the time. Back we go through rheumatology, Ortho, and this time even neurology. No one can figure out why this kid can't feel his legs. One day I took him out for a fancy dinner of his favorite, Chicken Alfredo, and after he says "mom, my legs just died. I don't feel *anything*. He's limping because he doesn't feel anything. A little while later he tells me the feeling suddenly came back out of no where, but now his hands are tingly. So I call the doctor and start googling. I discover some people get reactions like this from gluten and dairy. Thus begins our journey into Celiac diagnosis. He has pretty serious silent celiac. Never a stomach issue, but a nerve issue. They said they don't know why, but it occasionally happens.

He's been gluten free since February.

The the of March, my kids get a *really* bad case of Flu B. And I mean bad. My daughter got it worse and it turned to pneumonia (which caused her hair to fall out a few months later). My son, never got as sick as she did, but what he did get was .. you guessed it- leg pain. A lot of it. I get that the flu comes with body aches, so that isn't unexpected. It passed, he was fine. 2 weeks after he recovered, they had a race at school. After all the kids run by, a woman I don't know comes and tells me my son is laying on the ground behind the start line, screaming in pain. I run over and it's so bad I can't even touch him. If I touch his skin, he screams. His legs are completely locked up like Charley horses, only not Charley horses. Both legs. We had my husband pick him up gently, put him in the car and went to the hospital. On the way to the hospital, he would go from fine and talking to suddenly grabbing his legs and screaming- they were spasming I think. By the time we got to the hospital, the whole thing has passed. Lasted for roughly 30 minutes start to finish. ED found nothing. No explanation.

The only problems we've had since then, is occasionally if he gets accidentally glutened he will get leg pain for a few days. Sometimes more painful than others, but it's the same pain so he knows that happened to cause it.

Currently both kids have what I believe is the flu again (a whooping 8 days into the school year!). My daughter is recovering quickly and was only mildly sick. My son... Is sicker than she was, sore throat, stuffy, generally miserable. He has leg pain but I chock it up to flu aches. Then . Today happens. He keeps getting what I'm referring to a "lightening bolts" through his legs. Knee down to ankle. He's fine, then suddenly grabbing his legs and screaming- then back to fine. His hips also hurt enough that he cried. I called the doctor and told them ibuprofen is not helping at all, what should I do? I also called rheumatology and asked if I should go do a blood draw since he's sick and having the same problems, and *they said no.* I don't get it.

I don't know what to do. My kid is suffering constantly. He's in pain more than he's not! I understand if it's just that he got glutened. It happens occasionally. That's ok. But that's not what this is. This is something else entirely and i feel like we're constantly being brushed off by every doctor. They played pass the patient until *I* figured out he was celiac. They kept telling me nothing was wrong when his hips were not letting him sleep. Now I've got a kid whose legs keep spasming and he can't walk and I'm being told just to throw ibuprofen at the problem (and it doesn't even help!).

Can anyone think of what it might be? What can I ask for? What can I look for? How can I better advocate for him just shy of refusing to leave a medical office until they figure it out or I'm forcibly removed? I can't stand watching him suffer constantly.

Age: 23 months

My son was attacked by a loose dog at a public park a few weeks ago and sustained a bite to the face that required 7 stitches. The whole ordeal has been traumatic for his mom and I, and especially his grandma who was with him during the attack. Despite the craziness of all this he’s remained relatively happy all things considered.

My wife has become scared recently after her aunt (who is also a nurse) said she was worried that the wind looked infected and that they took the stitches out too early and will require scar revision surgery (they were in for 17 days). My wife is also post partum which isn’t helping her anxiety either with all this going on. Would anyone be willing to chime in and take a look at these photos and be able to give her some reassurance that everything is going okay?

That said we do have an appointment scheduled for tomorrow for his pediatrician to take a look at everything but my wife is currently panicking and I’d like to calm her down if I can.

24F Diagnosis: radial nerve palsy at 19, waited 5 years with no improvement.

Surgery: 3 weeks ago tendon transfer to restore wrist lift, finger lift, and something with the thumb

Meds:Gabapentin & cyclobenzaprine for after the surgery. Sertraline, Hydroxyzine pamoate, bupropion xl daily.

Current problem: while in cast (~1 week) more numbness then I usually have, specifically my middle and index, the inner parts of my thumb, and today it has moved to the fleshy parts of my lower thumb. Nothing is hurting, nor is there any pressure anywhere. I have to be in this cast for 3 more weeks.

Hello! Before I say anything else, I *did* tell the casting person about the numbness (after I got it recasted because it hurt and was numb), but it's getting progressively worse even after the recasting. It does not hurt like it used to, but the numbness hasn't decreased. I have messaged them again, but if anyone can tell me if it's expected or not unheard of because of this cast type, please let me know. I'm mostly looking for what to do moving forward, and how I can relieve some of this uncomfortableness.

I have to wear this god awful cast for 3 more weeks, and it's a pretty dramatic one. (There should be a picture attached! But it might take a while to load, I was having trouble earlier. I'll post it in the comments to, but I was having even more trouble with that earlier. ) The cast is to hold my hand up so the tendons stay relaxed, that's why it's in such a weird position. My hand is very "tilted in" if that makes sense, like the bend of my ellbow is the location they casted my hand in (to try and draw it, arm and elbow

|__| hand straight up) so my hand is parallel to my bicept, and my hand gets pulled downwards because of the weight of my thumb (like the back of my hand is towards me with the thumb side of my hand facing down.)

Main question: If I get a recast, what are your recommendations for this to not happen again? Is this "normal" because of the way my hand is forced to lay (up always)? Is the numbness from one of the medications? If I have to keep it, is there anyway to lay to releave the discomfort/minimize the nerve pressure (if that's what's happening)

Tldr: numbness in middle, index and thumb starting when cast was put on. Recasting didn't help, and it is worse then before, what can I do?

Female 30 5 foot 2 110lbs no meds. I have been having the weirdest symptoms. This new symptom idk how to describe. I could just have a bowel movement but still feel like there’s a poo in me. Or it feels like there’s a buttplug or something all the time but there’s nothing there. It hurts.

My other symptoms have been fatigue, extreme brain fog, awful stomach pains, huge bloating, i bruise even though nothing has happened, I don’t sleep well because I’m in tummy pain or gassy, nauseous often, my joints hurt so bad. I’m getting weird white spots on my torso, I get random little hives I guess. I keep losing weight without trying. Sex hurts. I have to seriously push to urinate. I always have diarrhea with the occasional constipation but never normal. I bruise easily. Brain fog is for seriously bad. My periods are extraordinarily irregular maybe 4 a year. (treated for SIBO once but return visit isn’t until October for GI).

It almost feels like something is inside me and putting pressure on my bladder and bumhole. It also is sore if I press my stomach.

Oh, and I’m getting a weird hole right above my belly button. Like the muscle is missing or something so freaking weird. I think it’s from bloating so much. When I say I’m the tiniest human ever but look 9 months pregnant when I bloat I am so serious.

The fatigue is so bad that I’m actually depressed from it. Like I can’t sleep at night and it’s making me exhausted, tired and cranky. I just don’t want to be me anymore cause it sucks so bad.

I was negative for celiacs (blood test only). My ANA was also negative.

I’m just curious what you guys think? I feel like I’m actually going insane.

My mom’s father died of an extremely rare and fast stomach cancer. He went to the hospital and a week later had passed. Figured that was family history might be important. Also my mom, mom’s mom, my sister, my brother and aunt all have random GI issues like bloating, anemia.

Really interested on GI, derm and Rhuem opinion on this. I’m unsure if I’m going to the right doctor and I’m not even a 100 percent on the originating origin of the problem or if these are millions of little problems.

43M. This started around 4–5 weeks ago as a small yellowish/crusted patch on one side of my nose, close to the nostril. It has persisted rather than healing completely.

Over the last few weeks it seems to have gradually spread. I now have similar crusting/irritation on both sides of my nose, with some fainter redness/scaling extending further up the sides of the nose. I've attached photos from different stages.

Symptoms: Periodically it becomes intensely itchy. It isn't particularly painful and I haven't noticed significant swelling. The affected areas can look yellow/tan and crusty/scaly.

40F / migraines, IST / Qulipta, rizatriptan, ivabradine

I had an MRI in 2022 due do a sudden increase in migraines. That MRI shows white matter hyper intensities, that my then neurologist shrugged off like it was no big deal. Had a repeat MRI recent and it showed even more lesions (more pictures below). The radiologist report attributed them to mild small vessel disease (I have always had normal blood sugar and blood pressure). Is this really not a big deal? I am concerned about long term consequences such as a bigger risk of dementia. Also, it seems like everything keeps getting blamed on migraines and I’m wondering if I should explore other ideas.

Okay so my age is 20, female, 240lb, lupus, hypothyroidism, a slurry of mental health issues most notable being depression & ADHD.

Meds: Azathioprine, Lyrica, Levothyroxine, Prozac, & Wellbutrin

Honestly I know I cannot hide the cuts forever. I don’t really want to either. I made them because I like them 🤷. It’s not something I’m proud of but it’s something I’d probably do for the rest of my life. This has been a dream of mine for years. I finally gave myself permission on June 23rd of 2026. I proceeded to make a massive self harm design which almost made me pass out. I went and recut the lines 3-4 times. Don’t wish that experience on anyone tbh. I’ve made cuts today Sept 1st & Aug 31st. I purposely waited for my dr appt to be over before recutting.

I know I can’t get away with hiding the cuts from my PCPs & psych (I haven’t seen him in 3 months but I plan on going back in a few months). I just want to know what to expect when they eventually realize. Should I be completely honest? Do they need to know how many cuts I’ve made? I’ve taken pictures of all of them too. I cut too deeply on my foreman & now have a permanent scar, which I suspect will be noticed soon. I can’t hide my hands from my rheumatologist for long either. I’m prepared to face this head on, but I’d like to not freeze up or break down when my providers finally notice.

The end goal of these cuts is the scarring. I’m not a fan of making the cuts and I get super shakey. My body’s adjusted better & I haven’t almost passed out anymore. I can’t afford tattoos. I find this to be more unique & I lowk want to wear em with pride. I’m aware this type of thinking isn’t normal, but doesn’t mean I’ll reliably change. Also when I first made the cuts I thought I’d cross a line. I thought I’d feel different. I didn’t at first but I do now. The cuts are like a full house to me. Think I’m totally fine? Just look at my hands, forearms, ribs, thigh, etc. It felt kind of empowering to finally have cuts & I feel quite cool with them too.

Any info or advice is greatly appreciated and if you’ve got any lectures I’ll read them & reply.

I am 39, male, weigh 170, and am 5'9. (wouldn't let me post without this information).

On Friday day I was skateboarding, fell on concrete and landed fairly hard on my butt. It actually knocked the wind out of me a bit. I got up walked it off and quit for the day. Saturday it hurt pretty bad and if I walked up or down stairs or moved in certain ways it would hurt. Sunday and Monday were mostly fine but still had some pains, again if I moved in certain ways like bending over to pick something up, and when I tried to pick up a computer and pack it up in a box I felt a fair bit of pain. However today it was hurting sometimes throughout the day with a constant dull pain (though sometimes it would go away) or just feel tight around the area.

From what I can see there is no visible bruising. That said, just standing, sitting I feel no pain at all (aside from the constant dull pain today but sitting/standing did not change the pain difference). Walking I don't feel much pain either unless, again I move in certain ways.

I feel like if it was broken it would hurt all the time, especially when I sit, but am wondering what some symptoms would be if it was a small fracture. I am considering going to the Dr. tomorrow or Thursday if only to confirm it so that I can change my workload to light duty and not skateboard until healed. If it isn't broken then I can work and "play" however I want without worry and just deal with the pain.

Edit: I should note that the injury is under the beltline between it and my jeans back pocket, not where I actually sit.

There’s a new pharmacy tech at my pharmacy. She refused to give me a refill for a non controlled substance today. I’ve never been denied before and I’ve been on the same meds for many years. The pharmacist denied me today stating, “You don’t need both. (They’re two very different drugs.) You can’t take these two together. There are negative side effects.” Maybe she was confused? I told her I’ll be back for the other and she actually canceled the refill. Today after a check up, I just got my prescription sent in by my doctor as usual. Both of the prescribers of the two meds are in the same network. They know what I’m on and they’ve never had an issue with the combination. I’ve personally never had an issue with the meds. What do I do in this situation? These aren’t controlled substances. One is a hormonal medication and one is an antidepressant. I’m calling in tomorrow. I think I’ll ask my doctor’s office what they think about this situation first.

Husbands eye started to hurt yesterday and he felt something so took a look inside. I have attached a pic. Does he need to go to the ER?

So basically my face and neck have been hurting for two days but no signs of swelling. I thought it was TMJ at first but then today I noticed these white spots. Also tinges of pain in that tooth. I have also been feeling generally unwell at certain parts of my day as if I am dying slowly. I'm not sure how else to explain it.

I went to the ER a couple weeks ago and the doctor seemed a little annoyed that I was in there since I didn't really seem like I was having an emergency but I told him my lymph nodes under root canal were swollen. He said yes but not that much so he recommended iI take the antibiotic and come back if it doesn't get better.

Every night I am having feeling of feeling faint or unwell and racing heart followed by anxiety ever since root canal. I am not sure what's going on please help me :(

I’m writing this because I honestly don’t know what to think anymore, and I’m hoping someone here may have experienced something similar.

At the end of May, my father suddenly told me that he was extremely cold. He immediately went to bed, and shortly afterwards he started shaking violently. I had never seen anything like it before. He suddenly became so weak that he couldn’t even get out of bed. His oxygen saturation also started dropping, so I called an ambulance.

He was taken to the hospital very quickly. He was able to contact me from the hospital because I had given him his phone. They started doing tests, but at some point he stopped breathing. They discovered that he had a pulmonary embolism. He was immediately transferred to the ICU and put into a medically induced coma. He stayed there for about 10 days, but thankfully he recovered enough to come out of it.

During all of this, further tests revealed something else: kidney cancer with metastases to the lungs.

After about 2.5 weeks in the hospital, he was discharged and came home. He was recovering surprisingly well. However, about two weeks later, the exact same thing happened again — severe shaking, feeling extremely cold and a drop in oxygen saturation. He was taken back to the hospital, and this time they diagnosed urosepsis. Fortunately, he recovered relatively quickly and was back home after around 10 days.

At the same time, he had an appointment scheduled with an oncologist about a month and a half later. While waiting, he was recovering at home and actually started getting much better. He was walking again and was able to do quite a lot of things by himself.

The main thing bothering him was terrible back pain. He also started eating less because, according to him, everything had started tasting bitter.

Eventually, we had the first oncology appointment and he was given another appointment for a biopsy. We were hoping that this would finally allow treatment to start.

But about a week ago, just three days before the scheduled biopsy, he had another episode. His oxygen saturation dropped again and he started shaking violently. This time he was taken to a different hospital.

They diagnosed another pulmonary embolism, as well as Klebsiella pneumoniae pneumonia.

While he was at home, he had also been having recurrent urinary tract infections, although about three weeks ago his tests showed that there was no longer an infection, so it seemed like things were improving significantly.

He is now in the ICU again, but thankfully he is not in a coma this time and is responding well to treatment.

We are still trying to arrange for them to perform the biopsy while he is in this hospital, because otherwise we keep getting stuck in this horrible cycle. The doctors say that the tumor in his kidney is likely contributing to the recurring embolisms, but without the biopsy it is difficult to move forward with oncology treatment.

And now something happened again today that really scared me.

This morning I spoke to him on the phone and he sounded good. But during visiting hours, the same thing happened again. He suddenly started shaking violently, complained that he was very cold, and his oxygen saturation started dropping again.

The doctor told us that the shaking is caused by the infection.

Has anyone here experienced something similar?

I’m particularly wondering about this very strange pattern: oxygen saturation starts dropping, the person becomes somewhat less responsive, then feels extremely cold, falls asleep or lies down, and suddenly starts shaking violently.

I understand that infections can cause chills and rigors, but seeing these episodes repeatedly is terrifying, especially because the first time it happened he ended up in respiratory arrest and was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism.

I’m really afraid that he will eventually be discharged again, we will take him home, and the exact same thing will happen all over again.

At the same time, he urgently needs to start cancer treatment, but we seem to be stuck in a vicious circle — infections, embolisms, hospitalizations, waiting for a biopsy, and then another episode before we can even get to the next step.

Has anyone with kidney cancer/metastatic cancer, pulmonary embolisms or severe infections experienced episodes of violent shaking/rigors together with a drop in oxygen saturation like this? What was the cause in your case?

Hey everyone, I am a 27 year old guy and had the great idea of putting a mesh loofa that I’ve had for a while up my butt and now I’m worried I might have gotten an infection. My arse hole feels swollen and I get these random sharp pains in my abdomen should I get it checked out for possibility of an infection?

62M - FNA shows metastatic carcinoma in left cervical lymph node - trying to understand what this means

Hi everyone,
I’m posting on behalf of a 62-year-old male family member. We recently received an ultrasound neck report followed by an FNA of a left lower cervical lymph node.
I’m aware that a tissue biopsy and further investigations are required, and we’re following up with the doctors. At this stage, we’re mainly trying to understand the reports and what this finding could mean.
USG NECK
Indication: Left cervical adenitis
Findings:
Thyroid is located in normal position in the lower neck
Both lobes of thyroid appear normal in size and echotexture
Neck vessels normal on both sides.
Both submandibular glands appear normal. Both parotid glands appear normal.
Left deep cervical level 3 and 4 and supraclavicular region shows multiple lynph nodes of varying sizes, largest measuring - 26 x 19mm with some showing loss of central fatty hilum.
Impression:
Left deep cervical and supraclavicular lymphadenopathy as described - for clinical correlation

FINE NEEDLE ASPIRATION CYTOLOGY
Site:
Left lower cervical node
Microscopy:
Smears studied show cohesive and dyshesive clusters and few singly scattered malignant epithelial cells. Few papilloid clusters are also seen. The cells have moderate cytoplasm with nuclie showing moderate pleomorphism.
Prominent nuclieoli is noted in few cells. Cytoplasmic vacuoles are seen in some cells. Background shows lymphocytes and necrotic material.
Impression:
Features are suggestive of metastatic carcinomatous deposit.
Kindly correlate with clinical and radiological findings.
Suggested tissue biopsy to rule out / confirm the possibility of primary adenocarcinoma.

My main question is:
Based on the FNA report, does this essentially mean that cancerous cells have been identified in the lymph node, and that the upcoming biopsy is mainly to confirm/characterise the cancer, determine the exact type (e.g. adenocarcinoma), identify where the primary cancer originated, and establish the extent of spread?
The biopsy results are expected in approximately one week, so we’re trying to understand what the current report is actually telling us while we wait.

I had a cup of coffee with espresso in it this morning. I do not normally consume caffeine, but this coffee was offered to me and I didn't think it would cause any harm to drink it. For the first couple of hours, I felt totally fine. Then, around lunchtime, I was feeling shaky. I figured I had low blood sugar or something so I ate some lunch. The shakiness went away, but, for several hours since then, I have felt like I'm going to black out every time I stand up. What is going on here? I'm drinking lots of water and eating normally. When I google "caffeine and low blood pressure/hypotension," I'm told that caffeine actually causes high blood pressure, not low blood pressure. Why do I feel like I'm going to pass out then when I stand up? How can I remedy this or do I have to simply wait for it to be out of my system? For automod, 31F, 5'4, ~140 lbs

I’ve dealt with “bloating” for years now. The reason why I put quotations is the fact that whatever it is, it doesn’t come out. I physically cannot burp. I haven’t gotten diagnosed before but the only time I’ve ever burped was before during or after puking, and even then it was barely a croak. I have the weird gurgling in the back of my throat when it comes to a faux burp but that’s it. Gas comes out the other end fine… lol. Not constantly, but there are days where it’s worse than others.
My stomach has a little chub on it and a bit of a squish but when it’s like this, it’s hard as a rock.
I’ve dealt with constipation, gastroenteritis, a false diagnosis relating to nausea after my stomach not returning to normal after the stomach flu, it’s awful.

No I’m not pregnant, I’m a virgin.

What kind of doctor should I see about this? Any at home advice until then? I’m in college living off college food… can’t change the diet all that much.

So i,19 year old women,woke up this morning with these spots,well technically they're not spots,its like if you got bit by a spider or something. It itches a bit,there's bump on them. At first i was worried because i already had chicken pox last year and i was afraid that it came back but there is nothing like this on my body. I want to know if its really something that bit me or do i have some kind of reaction to something ?

3M, 18kg, 105cm, previous history of infantile epilepsy which he has outgrown. History of ear infections, grommets inserted July 2025. New script for maintenance inhaler (orange) as asthma suspected - viral induced cough variant? Awaiting specialist appt. Multi vitamins and probiotics daily no other meds.

Our son came down with the daycare plague last week, I’ll put timeline below - does this look like normal progression of Flu A or are we heading back to the doctor? We saw one less than 48hrs ago but that day he appeared well and we hadn’t needed ventolin etc

Day1: Thursday slight snotty nose
Thursday night croup - pred single dose 1am
Day 2: Friday appeared okay Negative Flu/rsv/covid
Day 3: Saturday morning asthma attack?
Wheeze and crackle in lungs, saw Dr urgent care
Start ventolin and amox and new course of 3 days pred. Negative Flu/Covid/RSV
Day 4: Sunday continue breathing treatment and meds fevers rolling 38-40 peaking at night pamol for fever/discomfort as needed
Day 5: Monday last dose pred continue ventolin as needed and amox. Tests positive Flu A
Day 6: Tuesday no ventolin needed appears okay during day, crashing in afternoon. Fevers continue. Diarrhoea starts, couple of loose green stools
Day 7: Wednesday start maintenance inhaler, needs ventolin twice for wheezing/ shortness of breath, pure liquid diarrhoea with severe stomach cramps, fever persistent 39+

Is this persistent fever and new green watery stool something to be concerned about or are we just rolling through Flu A and have to ride it out?

Feel so bad for the guy and want to make sure we are doing all we can to help him!
