Ever feel frustrated when building IKEA furniture? The instruction guy is suffering the same fate.
The Voice-Over is from a german IKEA commercial.
Created this back in January in Blender with Editing done in DaVinci.

Hi everyone 👋
I've finished working on the character Frog Ronin, which I created together with our students as part of my mentorship at CodeWay School.
I’d really appreciate your support, likes, and feedback))
Hello Blender community. I just came to say here that this software has absolutely blown me away. I have been learning 3D for 2 months now and I have progressed so well with Blender, I just find myself a lot of the time in early hours of the morning taking a step back from my project and going “wait.. This was free?”
I really am thankful for the developers of Blender, I am having a really hard time both financially and mentally right now and as crazy as it’s sounds blender has helped me through it.
I don’t have time to think about how stressful my life is if I’m locked in on making a new building for my game, you know? And after that I am looking at my work in awe so I also do not have time to think about the other stresses of life.
It makes me feel better in myself too as I have stopped being glued to my couch after work doomscrolling TikTok, I am using my brain after work to learn a productive skill, I can already feel the long lasting effects, I can think more clearly throughout the day. It’s literally improving my quality of life because I’m not numbing my brain anymore.
I love Blender, thank you to the people who made it and keep it maintained with updates, you guys are the real homies.

Another fun challenge as always. Late start on this one roughly about less than 2 weeks so I opted to go with something simple as far as a scene. And my pc can’t really handle much so this is what I could come up with.
The base armor was made by an artist named Nick Scott but the model was made posed and not in anyway ready for rigging and animation so I spent some time modifying and pretty much manually fitting the armor around my rigged character. All of this because i really liked the armor and look. But I ended up adding the cape and fur because I like capes haha. Retextured and certain things and it was good to go
Then i animated a simple character turn and that was it. For the army I spent too much time for things that isn’t even noticeable. I made 4 different animations of the soldiers of slight idle then a simple geometry nodes setup to scatter and add variations.
Main thing for this project was to avoid working with volumes/smoke/fog since I just can’t render them and work with efficiently on my machine. All in all I think I’m happy with it for what it is. Looking forward to everyone’s work.

Hey everyone! I honestly forgot when I made this, but it’s probably one of my favorite pieces. Let me know what you think!

In just over a year, I’ve created a wide variety of models, focusing primarily on medieval architecture.
Around 3-4 months in, I landed my first freelance, and shortly after, secured a small contract with a game studio.
Today, I’m working on several paid projects while continuing to release free models created in my spare time.

Here's another attempt I made using the repeat zone in the shader. This time, I went for an Art Deco style.

Beginner here, watched countless tutorials to achieve this shot, also it took me a month to make, it is such a pain in the ass. It was comped in Fusion with multiple shots stitched together, but you can clearly see where the transitions are, Im still working on that.
The lens flare, glow and light wrapped was done in Fusion. The atmosphere clouds were done by following Samuel Krug, the vdbs were downloaded from him ,while the landscape was created with Blender gis with texture applied.

After months of development and testing on different rigs, Blaze AutoPose is finally available.
You can drag the wrists, ankles, head, or torso, and AutoPose adapts the rest of the body around your active constraints. After a short setup, it works directly on the FK controls of Rigify, Auto-Rig Pro, CloudRig, Mixamo, Puppet Studio, and custom humanoid rigs.
It is designed to get the body pose in place quickly. You can then switch to regular posing whenever you want to refine the result manually.
I would love to hear what Blender animators think now that it is released.
get it on Superhive:

First time rigging.
Rigged the suspension with a tutorial and few extra days to figure out how to rig the extra parts.
Then came to the expanding wheels and couldn't find anything to help me rig. Tried using ChatGPT and figure out how to rig an array of objects, didn't work. Started creating a geometry node, but was stopped by a few experienced riggers and set straight. Now the wheel is prepared for individual rigging of every element (mid section and two side sections. Side traction parts are pushed out on an angle, but are linked to the middle, so the angle of the hydraulics will need to change as the wheel expands. Rows are linked by a three piece chain like connection, which needs to unfold as the wheel expands. All in all, each wheel has 20 rows of 3 traction parts, which means I will have 60 dampen track modifiers per wheel. Really hoping this will not crash my system.

Some fellow dutchies might recognize these pastries/snacks, such as the famous Frikandelbroodje and Kipnuggetbroodje.
So.. a few days ago I was eating one of these, and thought it would be fun to photoscan one. I put it on a cheap little rotating platform, then made sure the lighting was as flat as possible, and started photographing it using my camera, while rotating it on a cheap little rotating plate.
Tried Meshroom but the results looked quite bad, then I tried RealityScan (I swear it used to be called RealityCapture before, or am I crazy??)
The results were insane. Even some areas that could have been scanned a bit better had a ton of great detail.
Scanned a few more and cleaned them up. Put them up for on CGTrader, I hope you like them.

and hope y'all can forgive me for some self promotion haha
