Seeking Opinions Is it savable?

Truck started shuddering at a certain speed so I thought it was the u joints. But after checking my coolant I noticed the coolant reservoir was overflowing and was dark red. So I was going to flush the radiator and after a few flushes, atf started leaking everywhere under the truck. Dipstick looked light pink so coolant mixed with the trans fluid. Got it towed and had my buddy replace the radiator and hoses, along with a new trans filter, and a trans flush but it’s still shuddering. Do I need a trans rebuild or maybe a new torque converter?

Did post before. Know it’s a block heater leak. But my transmission sensor light keeps turning on on the dash also. Is this why?

This is my buddy's truck. Hes been working for a few hours to get the rusted bumper off so he could see the coolant leak better. Im going to go give em a hand tomorrow, but its still hard to see exactly where its coming from imo. I thought maybe someone here might have some further insight. Thanx Dakota sub!

96 Dakota 3.9 auto, headlights and dash light issues

Headlights and dash lights both shut off last night after heavy use, about 3 hrs into a trip it shut off while I was switching from hi to lo or lo to hi, which I was doing frequently due to it being pitch black and vehicles approaching from opposite lane every now and then

Seeking Opinions Just bought a 2004 Dodge Dakota yesterday. Any useful ideas or modifications?

Bought this bad boy for 2700 yesterday. Only thing wrong is the a/c not blowing air when I adjust the fan speed. Hope it’s a blown fuse but most likely a bad blower motor. A little rough with this Texas heat.

This area of my truck keeps leaking when I stop. It’s watery transmission oil by look and feel. How do I fix it? As it is watery transmission oil is there a bigger problem here?

Thanks in advance🤙

And to keep bottles cool just pop the vent off and shove them in.

Edit
I see I was really thinking with the title. Between the compressor and Alternator 🤦‍♂️

2003 Dakota 5.9L

I am trying to remove the fan shroud with the built in radiator overflow and windshield washer reservoir. The aftermarket kinda sucks on what is our there

I can find two other models on eBay that say they fit my truck. Will either one of those work and if so does anyone have a pic of their locations under the hood?

Dead Vehicle, Please Help Bars leaks head gasket fix

I’m almost 99% sure my issue is the head gasket. Compression is off on one cylinder, drinks coolant and finally blew white clouds from the exhaust last night. Haven’t seen my temp go crazy but it has some aftermarket temp gauge I’m not sure actually works.

I know this is a gamble and I wouldn’t be doing it if I didn’t need this truck to make it to work. I’ve got a 93 5.2l magnum v8, is there any specifics about this engine that would make head gasket fix even more risky? I don’t have a garage or the tools or time or money to fix it correctly right now but I’d like to.

Any tips or suggestions?

Best one piece lugnuts?

Looking to replace the nuts on my 2011 4x4, a couple seem to have expanded slightly. I tried the Dormans on my wife's Jeep Compass but they started rusting within a year, any better options?

Can anyone verify factory tire size that came on these wheels?

Post image

So I just picked up another Dakota and it has no fender flares and the 16x7 wheels that look like flowers and I despise them. I'm going to add factory fender flares and get a set of these factory 16x8 wheels but need to verify the tire size that should be on them. I think it's 265/70 but just want to see if anyone can verify. Thanks!

2002 Dakota Sport

Truck worked great. Went on a 3 week vacation and came back to the truck cranking but not starting. Tried priming the pump.

Got it towed to my local mechanic.

They couldn't get the truck started and believe the 'ignition computer' (or something like that) was the culprit, but even if they could get a new one, he didnt have the tools to 'program' it.

What do you folks think?

Showing off my ride Finally get it painted

After 2 years of driving around with it in a rattle can primer paint job I got the drive side floor pan rockers cab corners bed arches replaced with new metal new headers since the old ones rusted through (painted cheap ones with fiberglass wrap in Maine)
Also want to point out I did sadly go with 70s chevelle blue sorry die hard mopar guys

Eastwoods epoxy primer and 70-72 Mulsanne blue single stage

My buddy’s doing the work and did the under hood as a test area so see if we also need to add a clear coat spray after or not.

Will update with how much paint we end up using and finish results we are currently estimating about 1-1.5 gallons of paint and the same for primer

I got a 99 Dakota 5.2 magnum with 60k miles that runs really rough and I can’t figure out why.

Hello, A few months back I bought this 99 Dakota with 60k miles that sat outside for a long time.
The truck runs really rough and I cannot figure out why.

I have done the distributor, crankshaft position sensor, ignition coil, ignition cables, spark plugs, timing chain, swapped the intake plenum plate to the thicker aluminum plate, did a compression test in each cylinder and the pressure is between 150-180psi, fuel pressure at the rail is 48psi and cut a massive slit in exhaust above the catalytic converter just in case I have a clogged cat.

My computer reads that the short term fuel trim and the long term fuel trim is +32%, so from my understanding is the PCM is adding a ton more fuel for some reason.

I also have codes P1491 and P1495

P1491 reads that it has something to do the radiator fan, but it’s a clutch fan…and there are no wires running to it.
I’ve read in forums that sometimes that code is related to the EVAP system.

The P1495 code to my understanding is the solenoid is clogged or has a bad connection to it. I’m going to tackle this code next.

And I ordered a smoke tester to see if I have a vacuum leak somewhere.

Another clue is that it sometimes pops through the intake.

I hope someone can give me a clue because I know I’m missing something.

Can anyone please help, I would be very thankful!

Help!! 1994 Dakota

My 1994 Dakota 5.2L is misfiring when I start it up. I have already replaced the distributer, rotor, cap, spark plug leads, new ECM, and coil. The problem keeps happening. I'm desperate for ideas on what the problem might be. Thanks in
