this is sad, of course, just as everything he's been allowed to do falls somewhere on the ever-expanding scale of sadness
but the bitter, dark, canadian part of me is glad he's leaving physical marks on the landscape as a record of his brutality. he won't be forgotten in 2029 (he might even still be in office then)

Whilst I saw the claims, the terrible turnout was a bigger cause. Which is equally as bad as voting for trump. But the lack of wanting to vote is also a symptom of the failure of the social contract.
Let us all remember that the GOP has been ratfucking elections for decades through things like polling place closures & voter roll purges. Many of the people who "didn't vote" simply couldn't vote.
