this is sad, of course, just as everything he's been allowed to do falls somewhere on the ever-expanding scale of sadness
but the bitter, dark, canadian part of me is glad he's leaving physical marks on the landscape as a record of his brutality. he won't be forgotten in 2029 (he might even still be in office then)

For the most part yea, but the pool of Trump voters actually got more diverse last time around. I’m from an area with lots and lots of conservative Latinos—really can’t assume someone’s politics based on identity around these parts.
