Race starts, i hold the accelerator, i up shift when i hit the red line, i don't know what else i could be doing to go faster in a straight line in a car I've never used, yet everyone and their mom is ghosting straight through me. Hella embarrassing when I'm first in the grid then last 20 seconds later.

I’ve raced against him before and he’s an incredibly dirty racer. Some prick in an awd slop car. This is probably the third or fourth time he’s done something like this to me. Forza support is useless.

I initially bought the game on launch to try it out but refunded because 70 is just too much imo

But the current sale has me eyeing the game again. Now before I spend the 60 there is something I need to know from people familiar with the series. And that is the question from the title. By racing content I mean stuff like Shirakawa Circuit, Hirosaki Scramble, The goliath, etc.

I really do not care for additonal cars being added, I'm already happy with what I unlocked in my 1.8 hours before I refunded. My interest is primarily on the actual driving content. And since 60 is still a hefty price, I'd like to know if there are hopes for future updates to bring me more of the stuff I'm interested in. I've kept an eye on the steam news tab but so far every update just seemed to add more cars. So is there any hope for more racing content in the base game or is that just not the kind of content they add outside of expansions?

Drivatars actually drive well on this one, i drew a draft, put all the props in, then redrew the track with the props in place.

At A700 and above the jumps become really hard to hit clean. They're supposed to be taken at around 100kmh / 60mph. Anything higher requires drifting and cornering just before the ramp so you land in the direction of the corner.

I just stumbled upon this while trying to get a decent angle with the camera,

I got close to one of the legs on the tower and suddenly while raising the height of the camera it started moving up the side of the tokyo tower.

I had to post because there is heaps of potential for the people that are into photography to get some really nice unique pics with the right tweaking

Sorry, I just wanted to vent and share these thoughts, and I no longer have the strength to keep them to myself.

I’ve lost interest in the game and I’ve become nervous. It’s impossible to play normally when everyone is just waiting for an opportunity to cut you off. On many turns, I’m simply pushed to the side, no matter how hard I try not to interfere with my opponents. And if you accidentally trip your opponent, even by just a couple of centimeters, he’ll chase you and push you into the ditch, even if you left him a little space as compensation. And this happens in every race, where in the first three months you don’t rise above the second‑to‑last place. It feels like the only way to get into the top three is to ram someone, which I’m not counting on.

Before I came to the online mode, I spent a whole year playing in single‑player mode in the fourth and sixth parts and just participating in Forzathon, which lifted my spirits. Now I’ve completely lost the desire to play Forza Horizon.

Consider this a review of the online mode. Thanks for attention.

Turn it off. I turned the radio off for a reason; the soundtrack is way more miss than hit. The soundtrack for FH5 was really bad, too. I'm playing music either on Windows Media Player or YouTube. Make a custom radio station for PC users like GTA V did over a decade ago.

I really enjoy the touge events in this game, but they are way too limited for me. You can't play them in whichever class you wish, you can only race them co-op when in a convoy, and there are simply not enough of them. So I started rebuilding them from scratch in EventLab (the routes are not available in there for some reason), left them unrestricted for player freedom, and also created 7 new routes. This video highlights the first of them! I'll also have a (mostly) unedited gameplay video tomorrow for better review of the actual route.

All the available events so far can be found by searching for EXPLTVE in the Creator field in EventLab, and the share code for this specific event is 129 453 399.

A completionist’s worst nightmare* - finally got through 250 mind-numbing games of Hurt & Suffer. Sorry, I meant Hide & Seek.

EDIT: Didn’t really try to win either as hider or seeker in H&S, It was always just a means to an end of enduring those 250 games. I got to Level 100 in Play after first three weeks of Play racing (using the Subaru 22B which gives XP boost in skill mastery) so I leveled up very quickly and was also winning races. So after reaching the max Play level 100, the only purpose was playing to get that H&S participation badge. I’d use the Porsche 911 Rallye, and just go anywhere on the map earning skill points. Because I wasn’t getting Horizon Play XP at Level 100, there was no point in playing the H&S as designed - nothing to gain whatsoever - so when I was a Hider I’d drive towards the Seekers and sit there until ‘found’ and game finished, just to get it over with as quickly as possible. By playing for skill points as a hider I was getting game XP for the skill chains (so leveling up faster) and getting skill points which I’d use on buying Lambo Revueltos and unlocking wheelspins/supers. This made the H&S participation slightly less boring and actually rewarding, albeit still super boring. (Pro Tip: select the Subaru 22B in free roam before starting H&S and you get its X9 skill multiplier in H&S whatever car used.)
