Xbox preorder gets a free month of GTA+? Whats GTA+? A monthly subscription for online? It’s foolish to think this isn’t what’s happening. So now I pay $100 for the release and if I want full capabilities it’s monthly on GTA+? Did they not just make a big public statement about not being a paid for subscription? Again, I’m wrong, crazy, and going back to the cave.

Edit: I thought I was right but I was wrong. No I don’t understand what GTA+ is and that’s where I fucked up. I’m old and grew up chasing GTA. I stopped playing games in general and bought a PS3 when GTA5 came out. I played it a lot. Beat it. Never platinum lever player or anything. But my last memories were the last updates they did for single by adding the new cars to the garage. I put it down and haven’t played since. It’s my fault for never adopting online. I apologize. Online is just really hard for someone my age.

Since Rockstar takes inspiration from Apple and the minimap is already rounded, I feel like a glassmorphism style inspired by Liquid Glass makes more sense and is definitely more aesthetically appealing

Was contemplating pre ordering gta6. Looking through the benefits and you get a month free gta+ with it. I was always of the opinion that was only for online and would be pretty useless in story mode.

Can you use it now for gta5 online? Or is it only for the new game?

I don’t even feel like this is a gta6 exclusive thing I feel like I’ve seen this for other games but gta just gets it the worst. But like I know a lot of it is satire but some people are actually serious and it’s like wtf it’s not that big a deal it’s just the fridge and one animation out of a 26 minute trailer that’s pretty good. How long do you think the prologue will be and how will it play out? In RDR2 the prologue is about 2 hours long until you are first allowed to roam around. I personally think it will be similar here and it will actually end with Lucia getting arrested. After that there’s going to be a time jump and we will get to roam around with Jason starting from the first safe house.

In RDR2 the prologue was set in the mountains, separated from the main map. I recon it’s a bit more difficult here due to having cars so maybe it will take place on a different map: on a small island or on a different landmass. I dont think it will take place in Leonida, maybe in a small town but I can see higher chances for the former options.

Or whatever it's called where the way you play sticks with you for the rest of the game.

Does it reset after death/arrest? Half the fun of the old GTAs is taking a break from the story and just causing chaos. Will I now have to give up all progress towards a good "honor" system just to let loose randomly?

I think they're cooking something up with GTA 6's online mode. We know from the patents that Rockstar / Take Two have filed that they are trying to do what Star Citizen is doing, SERVER MESHING. Where the map is divided into segments so that no part of the map is empty and is always populated by players. The players can move from one area of the map to another (e.g., from Vice City to Port Gellhorn) without needing to load into a new lobby or experience a screen interruption. Do you think all the features that are locked from the single player mode would be added in the online mode? I was initially disappointed that the "busted" system is still the same for nearly 2 decades now, but now that I think about it- they don't actually have to implement it on the base single-player mode.

What if all the "RolePlay" element of the game is in the online mode? What if you can get arrested and then the npc cops would actually transport you either to the Police Department or the Prison itself? and all the players that are near you can receive a mission to break you out of the police transport vehicle? We can even take it a step further, what if you can see the other players that got arrested in the prison itself and you can stage a prison escape of some sort?

Maybe the goal of wanting more players in one instance is so that players would be able to do stuff that you couldn't do in GTA 5's online mode. The only reason this patent exists, is because by cutting the map into segments, the game can allocate more processing power which allows for higher fidelity graphics and more players in a given area without the limitations. This would make it so all the new npc systems we have would not get directly impacted even in the online mode for GTA 6.

Rockstar has also embraced the RP side of the community, even incorporating Nopixel in the Rockstar launcher, the largest RP server that featured a lot streamers which consequently made the RP scene a lot more popular for the general populace. We can see that the single-player mode has added a lot interaction between NPCs and with Jason and Lucia having an actual relationship mechanics, where you can text each other, go on dates, go shopping, even incorporating their own social media feed with full livestreams that npcs can do, I think they've put on a lot of effort that can easily bleed through the online mode.

Obligatory "spoiler in case by some miracle I happen to be right".

Something about the extended look struck me as odd. If I didn't already know that Lucia was recently released from prison, I'd have gotten no idea about that from this extended look. Something seemed off. Like they were trying to obfuscate the timeline.

I wonder if there's a bait and switch. Hear me out, the game opens not with just Jason, but Jason AND Lucia, and in the last 3rd of the game, Lucia gets a moderate prison sentence, perhaps cutting some sort of plea deal.

There's something of a time skip, and then her and Jason are reunited. It looks as though everything is all find and dandy. Perhaps a handful of small missions trying to establish their happier ever after status quo.

If anyone has ever played Red Dead Redemption 1 (spoilers ahead) you know where I'm going with this. Right when we think Jason and Lucia are happy and safe, the ghosts of their past come to haunt them, and they both go out in a blaze of glory and are killed in a gun fight just like RDR and the REAL Bonnie and Clyde.

I think trailer 2 wanted us to think the scenes before Jason picks up Lucia were early in the game. But what if they're not? Look at Brian. He seems far more familiar with Jason then than he did in the extended look. What about the choice to give jason long hair. Sure, hair styles gameplay wise are probably customizable (this is a certainty). But what if the choices in the trailer were intentional? Meant to show the passage of time?

I'm starting to think Lucia is arrested near the end of the game, she gets out, the fake us out with a heavily ever after before killing off both characters.

Does anyone think that they’ll have a more persistent world in GTA six? If I park a car in front of say Michael’s house in GTA five it eventually just disappears and you’ll never find it again.

I understand how it can’t be persistent with everything forever but let’s say I bring a car to a parking garage and throw a Malta at it to burn the evidence. Is that car gonna immediately disappear or will it be there for a while?

Will I be able to stash a stolen car in some bushes and come back a couple days later to retrieve it?

Is anybody else excited to be dating Lucia? She'll be my first girlfriend ever in 33 years, so I'm excited to experience things with Lucia, like holding hands, taking her out to eat, dates, and even things like the birds and the bees. It will be fascinating to experience these things for the first time with Lucia.

What is think the story of gta 6 will be is that if u read the description of the game it say easy score goes wrong something something now after that Lucia gets arrested and is released on a condition where she has to rat on Jason and other high profile criminals in Lionida as she make her way to the top while Jason thinks she can be trusted as a partner in crime or romantically Lucia in the end will have option to either Rat on jason and other in criminal world (outcome maybe jason dies)or to not to do that and kill the antagonist Méndez
Or u know story can be completely opposite instead of lucia its jason who is a Rat and if he do that lucia dies and if he chooses not to Rat Méndez decided to kill Jason and lucia saves him

Every single robbery we’ve seen they’ve only worn bandanas, hats and sunglasses - is this the only way to mask up? Really disappointing if so.

2 billion and 13 years later you’d expect a game that thinks ahead, so if you did shoot the air conditioning Lucia doesn’t kick it but simply goes out the window.

That’s next level gaming. This is just spoiling the plot in advance. Walk in a room, see you can’t shoot an object and you already know that object has something to do with the mission.

What are your guys speculations on if you can pursue romantic interests other than Jason other Lucia?

Do you think there will be an dating app like in gta 4, or San Andreas? Do you think there will be story opportunities that lead to other romance options? Do you think youll have the option to decline others advances and stay faithful, or do you think the game will skip these options all together, only romance options being the two protagonist?

There has to be prostitutes in the game right? Will Lucia be up to pick up them up too?

Personally I think it would be really cool to romance others. If I could I would have Jason stay completely faithful to Lucia, while Lucia gets to hook up with as much as she wants. 😜
