Let me start off by saying that I also dont like woke media when they are just trying to shove an agenda down your throat, great example is the terrible She-Hulk show, “men bad women good” will always be a terrible message.

But I randomly came across this video and wow was I shocked at how angry a man could be over a girl in a video game that I really didnt see much issue with when I watched it myself. He claims that its just calling out woke stuff but he points out things like Lucia working out and fighting men that makes it woke while Jason gets his ass kicked in a backyard wrestling match. He also shows that stupid all women dev picture that other sexists youtubers put as a point that its going woke when in reality it was simply international women’s day when they took that picture to appreciate the women developers of the team. Also he calls Lucia the “bread winner” because she came back from “work” in that clip where she obviously came back from some type of community service, almost like he didnt watch the trailers himself.

He calls out Lucia for being ugly looking and that there wasnt hot women in the trailer which either he’s blind or that explains the blue lesbian haircut while he overcompensates his masculinity by smoking a cigar.

I will admit that Jason came off as stale in the trailer but we have yet to play it so we cant judge fully until then, but at no point did I think that Lucia being a badass was a woke agenda thing in the same realm that Jason also being a badass was nothing woke, its a video game of course they are exaggerated characters, you wont see this kind of thing in real life from either gender without them being killed within a week.

The worst part is the comments, just a bunch of losers that have never had a girl friend before. I get that we are in a woke epidemic but just hating women because they exist within a game is bat shit crazy.

Specifically, zip ties and carrying bodies. We saw zip ties used to restrain NPCs in the 2022 leaks. In the Cyberleeks, we saw the option to pick up bodies.

Yet we see none of this during the extended look gameplay. No pop up prompt to carry bodies as the characters walk past, no prompt to restrain NPCs either.

We saw the streamer in the trunk doing the Trunk Challenge, but we don't know if carrying a body and putting them in the trunk of a car is still in. The guy in the trunk could only be for that event.

Really hoping these elements make it in. Does anyone have any insight?

EDIT: OK smart guys, if R* simply didn't have time to show it in the extended look, why haven't any of the streamers like TGG seen it in their 2-3 hour playthrough? Not a single one of those guys said they saw carrying bodies or restraints during their time at Rockstar North.

I honestly don’t get why so many people are going crazy over the idea of buying a PS5 Pro specifically for GTA 6.

Have you guys actually seen how good this game looks on the regular PS5? It already looks absolutely insane. The lighting, reflections, environments, character models, vegetation, everything looks ridiculously detailed. And somehow people are acting like the PS5 Pro is going to make GTA 6 look twice as good just because it’s the Pro.

Let’s be realistic. The PS5 Pro costs significantly more than the standard PS5, but there is absolutely no way GTA 6 is going to look twice as good on it. In fact, I’ll go one step further: I wouldn’t be surprised if the graphical difference is barely noticeable in normal gameplay.

Sure, the Pro might give you a better resolution, more stable performance, better ray tracing or some other enhancements. I’m not saying there will be zero difference. (still no 60fps…)

But are people seriously expecting a completely different-looking game? Because I just don’t see it.
Rockstar is clearly designing GTA 6 to look incredible on the base PS5. The standard console is the baseline, and from everything we’ve seen so far, it already looks phenomenal.
If you already own a PS5, I genuinely don’t understand spending a huge amount of money on a Pro just because of GTA 6.

I think people are going to be seriously disappointed by how small the visual difference actually is.

The people saying this clearly haven't been in a long term relationship (5+) or been married.

This isn't cuck behaviour at all. It may appear that way, but its actually extremely accurate. A guy who's sick of his woman's bullshit. Slowly having his inner fire eroded by the relentless resistance he experiences from his partner when trying to do even the simplest of tasks like leaving the house to go somewhere, only to be accused 30 minutes later, as if being late was somehow his fault.

He replies with "sorry" out of self preservation, knowing that if he states the true reason why, it will result in further drama which will then escalate into a 3 day fight.

Anyone saying "oh I'd tell that bitch to get out of the car" yeah sure that works when you're 21.. But reality is, you can love and hate at the same time. Loving them as a person, yet hating how they treat you. So when you have sex you are angry about it.. and that makes for better sex anyway.

So yeah basically, I think the R* devs actually nailed it with designing a true representation of a typical married couple, even if they're not technically married.

I really would love to see Tommy in the game. Will we get only Easter eggs or do you guys think we might actually see him?

A lot of people have been complaining about how Jason is very stale and bland and not as interesting as a character as previous gta’s. Am I the only person that sees Jason as actually more of a return to form than anything? Throughout every gta game except 5, the protagonist has always been the calm and level headed character while everyone around him is crazy and wacky. In almost every cutscene, Niko, CJ, Tommy, or even Claude always stayed more reserved while the character they were with like brucie or Roman or big smoke kept on yapping about random eccentric bullshit. Even other rockstar titles had similar protagonist behavior like john marston who was very direct and stoic or max payne who was fed up with everything around him. The only rockstar game where the protagnists were crazier and louder than the people around them was gta 5, mainly with Michael and Trevor. So if anything Jason is the most classic gta protagonist we could get.

I can't tell the future, but history has a tendency to repeat itself.

Looking at GTA 6 right now, there are enough things that make the game look unfinished or at least not as polished as you'd expect this close to release. Maybe Rockstar will prove everyone wrong and deliver a masterpiece. That's entirely possible.

But that's exactly why I'm not preordering.

The last game I preordered was Watch Dogs 1. Since then, the industry has given us more than enough examples of why there's little reason to pay for a game before the final product is actually in our hands.

GTA 6 is probably going to be a great game. It might even be one of the best games ever made.

I'll happily buy it when it's finished.

Look maybe Jason will indeed be a cuck, It wouldn't be something unexpected from GTA series which is an American parody.

But I see nothing from the trailer to make these assumptions. Videos zooming to Jason's eyes every time Lucia says something, desperate to make him look nerveous or something with all those cheesy edits doesn't make the statement right.

Look, before you go downvoting me to hell and back, I am just stating my personal opinion, and I think I have that much right as an individual with unique interest, values and dislikes. Just like as everyone in this sub has theirs.

Lucia is a cool character and sometime she does bring out a chuckle from me with her anticlimactic dialogues. But her dynamic with Jason? The character that I would like to mainly play as? It is just not for me.

I don't know how others would feel about it, but I have major traumatic issues with being sneered at, occasionally disregarded and given attitude for no good reason by people I surround myself with.

Again, that is only me, and I don't know about others. I am not necessarily insulting Lucia as a character, I just don't find the dynamic appealing enough or healthy enough for me.

Did Cockstar see all the backlash about the exclusive content in story mode locked behind the more expensive edition and say "let's fucking double down"?

Also with a reoccurring 500k (which isn't anything in GTA V now) I guess we're setting up for a fucked up GTA economy from the get go. Remember with GTA V MP came out and you had to struggle for that first 30k to insure a vehicle to make it yours? Or the $1m apartment was the top goal to get? Back before every new car cost $1m+
