I don’t understand the appeal of the tradwife thing, but I’m curious how much of this is actually happening among Gen Z. Are more young women actually interested in it or just a relatively small number of influencers getting enough attention that it looks like a much bigger cultural shift than it really is?

I go to work then fall asleep. I don’t even have energy to make it to the bed usually I just sleep on the floor. I don’t brush my teeth beforehand either I just don’t have the energy. Then I wake up workout shower and all that and go to work rinse repeat. On weekends I’m tired from getting up early so I don’t do anything then I go back to work.

I don’t know how I’m expected to live like this for another 40 years it’s already been 5 and I feel dead inside. I can already see people saying come back in 15 years you’ll be used to it that sounds horrible I feel sorry for you guys. If that’s the future what is even the point? And the little “happy” moments in between isn’t enough to make this enjoyable

ordering food over the phone should not require the same mental energy as a presentation but here we are. i will literally drive across town to avoid calling in a pickup order

there's no way my life is now nostalgic. i turned 13 in 2020, so i may not all the way be included, but why are people nostalgic over something that happened...not even too long ago? a teen during covid??

I’m 22f and I’ve never been in a relationship before. I’ve never even held hands with a dude, so I can understand if my view of what love is defined as is wrong.

I came across this TikTok where this girl was talking about how pure love may not exist and it got me thinking about what love looks like to different people.

To put it simply: I think love is the effort to communicate and a willingness to see your partner happy and safe.

But honestly social media is making me feel like this view may be a bit naive and that things should be more transactional.

I'm wondering if members of Gen Z listen to music as an active activity. As in, just put on music and sit back and listen to it without doing something else. for at least 10 minutes. no phone scrolling or whatever else - no background listen.

Mine is pretty fucked…
