I'm no photographer, but enjoyed the sunrise this morning!

Living on the North Shore of Lake Ontario, I'm always amazed by the way the lake changes her character throughout the seasons!

Renaming big, important bodies of water is fun!

I built NameThatLake.ca: find literally any lake in Canada or the US (search it or just click it on the map), rename it whatever you want, and generate a shareable map graphic to make it official*.

*Not official. Not even a little official.

Some things you can do with this:

• Finally give Lake Ontario the name it deserves
• Settle the family argument about what to call the pond behind the cottage
• Rename a fishing hole after your dog, your ex, or your fantasy football team
• No sign-up required — just go rename something
