actually i couldn't understand. should i start from beginning or should i continue from 5th quest?

I like 2v2 but don't really know how to approach it. What are some good builds to run together or specs that complement each other atm?

I kind of assumed we’d get a couple of rush or similar short events to bridge the gap between Four Winds and the final VoE update. Maybe even a return of the Sunken Treasure event now that lots of folks have ascended or legendary aquabreathers.

Hello. I Always play gw2 on and off. Last time I played I went with necromancer but it just wasnt it. Id like to play some fast close to mid range class. Do you guys have any class that could fit this playstyle? Rn Im trying scepter + dagger elementalist. So far I like the flashy abilities and dashes. But since im new i dont have any elite specs yet. I havent invested much time into that character. So i wanna ask. Is there any class or weapon types i should take for this playstyle? If the elementalist could be the one class for me, where should I look for talent build? Thank you!

Hey Folks, Title kinda self explanatory...I am curious if I am just looking for an open world solo hammer build for Guardian, is core guard "better" than Willbender...I know both work, but curious what Guards opinions are on the differences.

I know WB's F1-3 skills have you zip around a bit more, but I am a bit unclear on what I am giving up for that movement vs core guard?

Also, I haven't really unlocked any of the other guard elite specs, but curious if any of them actually perform better with hammer than core and WB?

Hello. I would like to unlock the Siege Turtle. Unfortunately, there is no Raid Finder that automatically puts you into a random group.

Every time I use the LFG system and check if there is a group available, there unfortunately isn't one.

Is it even still possible to find a random group for this 6 years after the expansion was released? I also don't have a guild or friends that could help me with it.

I read that you can buy the item you need for the Siege Turtle after the Dragon's End meta for 1,000 Research Notes and 500 Imperial Favors.

I also read that since 2025, you can obtain 150 Research Notes through crafting instead of having to salvage crafted items.

Is this my best option, or are there better alternatives?

Edit: I'm just referring to just the three new expansions. I know they are less content than the dragon expansions

Are we getting less content per expansion after end of dragon? Because secrets of the obscure had six story sections. Janthir wilds had five. And if the next patch is the last patch for the current expansion, that would bring it up to four. (I'm referring to the sections for the story achievements to gain a reference)

So far I've only played completely through secrets of the obscure and it felt pretty content rich. But are the other two expansions worth it?

I have only one legendary item: Eikasia. And I am going for Regalia for my second one.

After some research I found that unlocking Vision and Aurora collections first is ideal because they overlap with Regalia. So I unlocked both of them. Thanks to the steps of getting a skyscale and unlocking aurora I have found that I enjoy completing collections.

So my question is do you have any tips that will make my journey easier? I am using guildjen guides and Lady Elyssa's pathing tool.

I recently dowloaded ARCdps, everything works fine but everytime i log into the game the ARCdps window appears by default and i have to hide it manually, i only wanna use it in content like fractals or raids and having to hide it everytime i start the game is kinda annoying, is there any way to make it hidden by default? I'm having a weird issue with skill inputs.

When I'm on the training golem, my skills feel instant and responsive. But when I'm actually in a raid, I sometimes press a skill and nothing happens immediately. I have to press the key multiple times before the skill finally activates.

This is really messing with my rotation: sometimes I end up skipping the skill entirely, and it obviously causes a DPS loss.

My ping is consistently around 20–30 ms and my FPS is good, so I don't think it's a performance or connection issue.

Is this normal GW2 behavior? Could it be related to skill queuing, animations/aftercasts, targeting, or something else?

Is there anything I can change in the settings or do differently to make skill activation more consistent?

My background in MMOs has always been in healing/support classes. If I wanted to try healing/support in GW2, are there resources (YouTube vids, etc.) that you'd recommend to help someone new to the rather unorthodox role healing/support plays in this game? Any healing classes that are easier to pick up and be competent at? Your sage wisdom and advice are greatly appreciated.

Is there an add on that shows the portals leading to the “next” area on the maps? I’ve found myself (as a fairly new player) having trouble at times finding my way through maps.

This is a fun story song.

I had a player come to an arena that was being shared back and forth by another player and myself to farm the weekly participation achievement (notably the map was full with all other arenas taken up by people hunting difficult achievements), only for another player to come and join us. However instead of joining the queue and sharing the arena fairly, this player instead repeatedly queued up to spawn Doobroosh, only to then run around in circles until the last possible minute to kill them. This takes about a minute and a half each time instead of the 5-10 seconds it would otherwise take given how quickly this player killed the boss at the end of the timer.

There's no achievement that this could be for, additionally they did this for about 30 minutes straight anytime any other person used this specific arena, and they proceeded to send whispers and mail to people mocking them for trying to participate in the festival fairly despite not a single person at any point retaliating or griefing along with them. Especially relevant is this happened today during he last week of the event where there is less than 48 hours to complete the weekly missions.

I recorded this behaviour and sent a report ticket via the website with proof (hilariously there's no harassment or griefing option in-game), however as arenanet refuse to provide any report feedback I will never know if this behaviour is allowed or punished if not. Considering how emboldened this player with multiple legendaries felt engaging in such unambiguous griefing, I suspect punishment is either entirely missing or extremely lax, and notably any evidence is obfuscated by the lack of report feedback in this game (despite it arguably having become an industry standard practice to provide report feedback in most modern games).

Is it even worth reporting this behaviour, or are trolls and griefers are just allowed to continue unimpeded?
