Hey everyone,
I'm currently living in a shared apartment, so keeping the noise down for my roommates is my priority.
Right now, I have the Neural DSP Archetype: Mateus Asato plugin, but to be honest, I just don't enjoy practicing through plugins every time I want to pick up the guitar. I want a dedicated hardware amp—something quick to plug into and play.
Since I'm moving out in a few months, I don't want to buy a big setup right now (like a tube head + cabinet). I just need something simple, and budget-friendly that sounds genuinely good for the price at low desktop volumes.
Some examples I've been looking at are the Vox Pathfinder 10 or the Yamaha THR5, but I just can't decide.
I mostly play rock and metal, along with some clean tones for general practice.
What would you recommend for my situation?
