Adoption Please Help Us Reach the Right People: These 9 Little Puppies Need Loving Homes based in Navi Mumbai/Mumbai

Post image
6 Upvotes

Posting this on behalf of some friends who are currently taking care of 9 adorable puppies, around a month old, in Navi Mumbai.

They’ve been looking after these little ones, feeding them, keeping them safe, healthy & making sure they get the care they need. Their deworming has already been done, and they’re scheduled to be vaccinated tomorrow as well. ❤️

We’re now trying to find genuine, responsible families who would be willing to give these kids a permanent home. They’re healthy, playful, incredibly sweet, and deserve to grow up somewhere safe and loved.

📍 Location: Navi Mumbai
🚗 Travel: They can coordinate across Mumbai & Thane if the right adopter is interested.
💉 Deworming: Done
💉 Vaccination: Scheduled for tomorrow

If you or someone you know has been thinking about adopting, please consider giving one of these babies a home. Please only reach out to them directly over Instagram if you’re serious about adoption & understand that a pet is a long-term commitment.

Even if you can't adopt, we would genuinely appreciate your support by upvoting, commenting, or sharing this post so it reaches someone who can. My friends are doing everything they can for these pups, and a little visibility would go a long way.

You can DM on Instagram

Thank you so much. Hoping Reddit can help us find these little ones their forever families.

P.S. Please adopt, don’t shop.

Fundraiser We Urgently need Help to get Simbi's Tests after 137 days of Fighting FIP to confirm her recovery - Please Help 🙏

Simbi completed her 137-day fight against FIP on 17th August 2026

Because of her weight loss, high WBC, low RBC and high Albumin, we were so scared that it was a relapse. But with your prayers, we don't think so now.

- No fever and no fluid in abdomen as per her last USG report.

- She is eating again: From 1-1.5 packs, she is now eating 2-2.5 packs (140-170 gms) wet food + a little dry food every 1-2 hours. I am still hand-feeding her, but this progress means the world to us.

- She has gained ∼200 gms in the last 12-15 days.

- Her poop is good.

- She has started going out, roaming a little and coming back home.

- And yesterday morning, she finally played with a big feather 🪶 after months. Seeing her play again was the happiest moment for me.

Seeing all these small signs, we really don't think it's a relapse.

Last vet update:

The vet had prescribed Doxycycline, Furever Cobalaforte and Synfosium. Her 10-day Doxycycline course ended on 28th Aug.

Now the vet has suggested blood tests to check if her WBC, RBC and Albumin are back in range. Last time she was dehydrated so she needed saline, and she is still slightly dehydrated, so she will need Subcutaneous Fluid Therapy again.

We have an appointment on Wednesday, 2nd September ( Tommorow ) for her blood tests. We need to get it done urgently.

Yesterday I had posted for her funds, and received ₹1000. I am posting again because her blood tests are on 2nd September and we cannot miss them. Without these tests we won't know if she is truly recovering.

I am really trying but I cannot do this alone.

I am just 20 years old, a student, trying my best to take care of her. I am not capable of giving her the best things in the world, but I am trying my best with my savings.

Simbi was a stray who used to visit our house. But because of her FIP treatment I had to keep her inside, and now I cannot let her go back to the streets again. Our house is her safe place - when it rains, when other cats fight outside and she gets scared, when there are loud DJ sounds or firecrackers - she runs inside. This is her home now. I just cannot leave her.

Even feeding her is getting so expensive. Wet food alone costs Rs. 500 every 3 days and I am managing that from my savings. But the tests and medicines are too expensive for me to manage alone.

Today I ordered Sheba wet food which will only last us a week, and Royal Canin dry food to try. She tried Royal Canin for the first time and absolutely loved it! Since she's only eating dry food on her own right now, I'm thinking of giving her the best food possible if I can.

Right now, funds for her tests and medicines are most urgent.

Breakup for treatment Tommorow

  1. Consultation - Rs. 700

  2. CBC HM5 - Rs. 800

  3. Preventive Care Profile Plus - Rs. 2400

  4. RL 250ml - Rs. 60

  5. Subcutaneous Fluid Therapy - Rs. 400

  6. Furever Cobalaforte - Rs. 200

  7. Synfosium - Rs. 350

  8. Transportation - Rs. 1200 (Our clinic is 34 km away from our place, so to-and-fro uber costs us Rs. 1200 every single visit)

Estimated Total Needed: Rs. 6110/-

Funds received: Rs. 1000/-

Still need: Rs. 5110/-

(Costs written as per last invoice from clinic, attached for transparency)

UPI: vadhellesha526@okhdfcbank

Please help us keep her recovery going. Even Rs. 100 / 200 will mean the world to Simbi. If you can't donate, please please share this with cat lovers.

We have attached Simbi's photos, treatment videos, bills and reports on the drive link below:

Thank you so much for being Simbi's family and supporting her till now. 🙏❤️

Advice Help 🆘, cat is running away with her baby leaving two behind, she tries with different babies each time (no favouritism )

We live in a hostel and we are taking care of a female orange cat(Shakira) and her litter of three kittens since she gave birth to them 5days ago. They are healthy and the cat is fed well, she has all of the cat food here, like wet chicken mousse that she previously loved. We have got her all kinds of cat food in the market and also boiled chicken, egg and rice. But Tonight she took one kid and ran upstairs to the fourth floor to a random persons room and went into a box. Even after we brought back the box she is trying to go back to that room and stay under their bed.

ALSO WHAT STARTED ALL THIS??? BIRYANI

So we got some biryani for ourselves yesterday and she wanted some then we gave her in her plate. But we feel she felt betrayed and tried to jump and eat from ours which is not usual behavior. TODAY we bought biryani just for HER. SHE DIDN'T EAT ANYTHING ALL DAY NOT EVEN IMPORTED CAT FOOD and only ate that biryani at night.

How do we keep her with her kids and in this room where she is safe and fed and not elsewhere where they might get hurt.

Fundraiser An abandoned cat needs help after a dog attack and a painful abscess

This little cat was abandoned by her owner near my house, and unfortunately, she was later attacked by a dog. The attack left her unable to properly use her hind legs.

I took her to the vet, and I was told that there is unfortunately a low chance of her fully recovering. However, after starting medication, she has shown some slight improvement. She still cannot walk properly on her back legs, but I don't want to give up on her while she is showing signs of progress.

Unfortunately, she has now developed another serious problem. A large abscess near her perianal area burst, leaving her with an open and painful wound. She currently needs daily veterinary visits for wound cleaning, antibiotic injections, and nerve-support medication/supplements. She needs to visit vet on daily basis because the wound is getting bigger as puss is coming from it

I am trying to raise funds to help cover her ongoing veterinary treatment, medicines and food.

Goal - ₹5000

If you can help, even a small contribution would mean a lot. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing/reposting this appeal so that it can reach someone who can help.

I just want to give her a chance to recover and live a normal life again. ❤️🐱

Update: We’ve reached the amount needed for her treatment

I just wanted to give everyone an update and say a huge thank you to everyone who donated, shared the post, offered advice, or simply took the time to care about her.

We have now raised ₹5,000, which is enough to cover her treatment and medications for the time being. I honestly didn’t expect so many strangers to come forward and help.

She is still recovering from her hind-leg weakness and the painful abscess wound, so we have a long way to go. I’m hoping and praying that she continues to improve and, one day, walks again.

Thank you to every single person who helped this little girl. Your kindness has given both of us hope. 🥹🐱

No more donations are needed for now. If we need help in the future, I’ll update the post.

Thank you ❤️

Post image

So i recently adopted a female cat she is 1.5 years old and 3.2 kg. Before she used to poop like once every 24hrs . But since one month it changed to like around 48hrs. Is it normal or emergency situation? Should i should take her to the vet asap? The poop is healthy looking poop dark brown but at the end of her poop she gets little loose light brown poop? Is it something related to the diet?

Discussion Two golden retrievers swept away from Nepal ended up in Indian town.

I was following this story of two golden retrievers that got swept away from Nepal and ended up in some border town in India. A guy in some village took them but started churning out contents instead. As soon as it came to notice ,A well known Nepali ngo collaborated with an Indian rescuer and reached there .It turned out the initial guy gave the dog to someone else and the next person refused to give them back.Police got involved . Long story short , Nepali rescuer was initially given the dogs and they treated their visible injuries .

When it was finally time to bring them back, the indian rescuer refused to give them back and started creating hurdles by asking for documentation and all .The family is yet to be contacted and the chances are their family probably swept away too .These dogs are in need of further treatment and they are very traumatised . She is keeping them in Bihar while the dogs most likely lived in hills. The nepali team has given up after she threatened them with “Police has given me the authority”.

I don’t trust the rescuer .If the dogs can’t be brough to Nepal , I hope they atleast reach to safe hands .Someone please intervene .

Advice Help me make her life good again so she can go for adoption

I found this sweet little female kitten roaming around my building in Dombivli West, Mumbai about 5–6 days ago. She looks like a Persian mix and is around \[age\] months old.

She is extremely loving, friendly and affectionate (she seems to tilting her head more than others cats)— she seems very comfortable around people, which makes me feel she may have had a human family and was either lost or abandoned.

She was a little weak when I found her, but she’s eating well and I’ve been feeding her regularly.

Unfortunately, I can’t bring her home because I have an 8-month-old male cat currently undergoing FIP treatment, and I don’t want to put him under unnecessary stress or risk.

If anyone is willing to foster or adopt this sweet girl, please DM me. I’d really love for her to find a safe, loving forever home. ❤️

Even if you can help with a rescue/foster or know someone who can, please reach out. 🙏

Discussion A pet (pun intended) project for pet parents, by a pet parent.

Hi folks!

Fairly recently, my doggo (Eevee) had to be taken to our vet, she had an upset stomach. Our trusted vet did not have ultrasound facilities, nor did the first two clinics I called.

It snowballed into making a website that truly every single pet parent needs. As a pet parent who went into panic mode themselves, I hope none of you have to. Press the "Find vets near me" button instead on trustedvets.in. there are other features too that I have been adding.

It's an initiative by a pet parent, for pet parents, I'd love to know what other hassles do you all face with petcare :)

Here’s the story of my doggo and me, and what led up to this initiative:

Discussion What do you gift a cat?

My sister adopted a cat a few months ago, whom I'll finally be meeting next week.

I missed my sister’s bday so to makeup for it I decided to take a gift for not only her but her cat as well.

But who knew finding a gift for a cat would be this difficult.

Originally I planned a visit to a cat café, but idk how social her cat is. Another thing I'm thinking of is a charm bracelet/necklace for my sister and a matching charm that can go on her cat's collar.

So do you have any idea where I could get something like this? Or some other gift for a cat parent? I’d really appreciate any suggestions, big or small, store-bought or homemade.

This indie was rescued today but there is no accommodation for the kitten at the rescuer's place.

They already have a distressed cat.

This is urgent, and even fostering helps.
