these cats have been in the balcony for around 3 hours. Mind you its 11:30 am right now. I wonder what the owner is doing but the other cat has been crying out loud for a long time trying to find a way to get in inside. it breaks my heart to see this.

This is a male cat around 1-2 years old called Dwight. He keeps revisiting our home, and keeps meowing to get in but I can't foster it as I have a rabbit. He looks like an abandoned cat as its very friendly and not able to hunt.

Today is Kaju's 38th day of his Dry FIP treatment........he is responding very positively to his treatment, I want to thank the people who have donated for Kaju......it has helped a lot and its really good to know that so many people care about Kaju so much.

The amount of money spent till now is - ₹1,27,387.68 and the amount of donation that we have received has been - ₹20,000.

If possible pls do help Kaju by donating any amount you can and pls share this post with as many people you can........financially any help would be really appreciated bcos the treatment is not yet over (84 days of treatment + relapse observation period and then Kaju's vaccination and neutering).

We go to Central Vets for Kaju's treatment.

We live in a hostel and we are taking care of a female orange cat(Shakira) and her litter of three kittens since she gave birth to them 5days ago. They are healthy and the cat is fed well, she has all of the cat food here, like wet chicken mousse that she previously loved. We have got her all kinds of cat food in the market and also boiled chicken, egg and rice. But Tonight she took one kid and ran upstairs to the fourth floor to a random persons room and went into a box. Even after we brought back the box she is trying to go back to that room and stay under their bed.

ALSO WHAT STARTED ALL THIS??? BIRYANI

So we got some biryani for ourselves yesterday and she wanted some then we gave her in her plate. But we feel she felt betrayed and tried to jump and eat from ours which is not usual behavior. TODAY we bought biryani just for HER. SHE DIDN'T EAT ANYTHING ALL DAY NOT EVEN IMPORTED CAT FOOD and only ate that biryani at night.

How do we keep her with her kids and in this room where she is safe and fed and not elsewhere where they might get hurt.

I just wanted to give everyone an update and say a huge thank you to everyone who donated, shared the post, offered advice, or simply took the time to care about her.

We have now raised ₹5,000, which is enough to cover her treatment and medications for the time being. I honestly didn’t expect so many strangers to come forward and help.

She is still recovering from her hind-leg weakness and the painful abscess wound, so we have a long way to go. I’m hoping and praying that she continues to improve and, one day, walks again.

Just came across these two little ones. Hope to spread some cheer! Later fed them with some milk and bread which i could find locally on the hill (ladakh)

This little cat was abandoned by her owner near my house, and unfortunately, she was later attacked by a dog. The attack left her unable to properly use her hind legs.

I took her to the vet, and I was told that there is unfortunately a low chance of her fully recovering. However, after starting medication, she has shown some slight improvement. She still cannot walk properly on her back legs, but I don't want to give up on her while she is showing signs of progress.

Unfortunately, she has now developed another serious problem. A large abscess near her perianal area burst, leaving her with an open and painful wound. She currently needs daily veterinary visits for wound cleaning, antibiotic injections, and nerve-support medication/supplements. She needs to visit vet on daily basis because the wound is getting bigger as puss is coming from it

I am trying to raise funds to help cover her ongoing veterinary treatment, medicines and food.

So today morning i wake up to my dogs screams she is 4 years old lab and German shepherd mix I adopted her 3.5 years ago . When i went out of my room the voice were coming from the backyard as soon as i went there i saw my dog and our neighbours male lab dog and the backyard was locked when i asked my father he said that the neighbours were going out so they left him at our home my mom also used the same excuse but when my grandma came i asked her she told me that they bought the dog home for breeding and i am very against it . I told my mom to stop my father but instead of doing it she was supporting him but my grandma was on my side my father heard all the conversations and very angrily said that he will beat my and kill my dog if the made any scene now it was a 1 hr long argument and as we have cameras installed i can see all in the cameras he was beating her with stick and she was also very uncomfortable I made up my mind that if my dog pregnant i will get the puppies abort . But after insisting so much my mother told my father that u should do i when ur daughter know it and all that typical Indian household bull shit and opened the backyard door and all this happened in the early morning as I brother went to school as he is also against it . At last I warned that that this is illegal and I will in form to the animal healthcare or the people and the reason they give me for all this was We can’t feed the dog for free she also have to give something in return in simple words that they will sell the puppies and get the money and we are not very poor we need this kind of income sources my father is retired and earn around 80k months and owns land . Simbi completed her 137-day fight against FIP on 17th August 2026

Because of her weight loss, high WBC, low RBC and high Albumin, we were so scared that it was a relapse. But with your prayers, we don't think so now.

- No fever and no fluid in abdomen as per her last USG report.

- She is eating again: From 1-1.5 packs, she is now eating 2-2.5 packs (140-170 gms) wet food + a little dry food every 1-2 hours. I am still hand-feeding her, but this progress means the world to us.

- She has gained ∼200 gms in the last 12-15 days.

- Her poop is good.

- She has started going out, roaming a little and coming back home.

- And yesterday morning, she finally played with a big feather 🪶 after months. Seeing her play again was the happiest moment for me.

Seeing all these small signs, we really don't think it's a relapse.

Last vet update:

The vet had prescribed Doxycycline, Furever Cobalaforte and Synfosium. Her 10-day Doxycycline course ended on 28th Aug.

Now the vet has suggested blood tests to check if her WBC, RBC and Albumin are back in range. Last time she was dehydrated so she needed saline, and she is still slightly dehydrated, so she will need Subcutaneous Fluid Therapy again.

We have an appointment on Wednesday, 2nd September ( Tommorow ) for her blood tests. We need to get it done urgently.

Yesterday I had posted for her funds, and received ₹1000. I am posting again because her blood tests are on 2nd September and we cannot miss them. Without these tests we won't know if she is truly recovering.

I am really trying but I cannot do this alone.

I am just 20 years old, a student, trying my best to take care of her. I am not capable of giving her the best things in the world, but I am trying my best with my savings.

Simbi was a stray who used to visit our house. But because of her FIP treatment I had to keep her inside, and now I cannot let her go back to the streets again. Our house is her safe place - when it rains, when other cats fight outside and she gets scared, when there are loud DJ sounds or firecrackers - she runs inside. This is her home now. I just cannot leave her.

Even feeding her is getting so expensive. Wet food alone costs Rs. 500 every 3 days and I am managing that from my savings. But the tests and medicines are too expensive for me to manage alone.

Today I ordered Sheba wet food which will only last us a week, and Royal Canin dry food to try. She tried Royal Canin for the first time and absolutely loved it! Since she's only eating dry food on her own right now, I'm thinking of giving her the best food possible if I can.

Right now, funds for her tests and medicines are most urgent.

I was following this story of two golden retrievers that got swept away from Nepal and ended up in some border town in India. A guy in some village took them but started churning out contents instead. As soon as it came to notice ,A well known Nepali ngo collaborated with an Indian rescuer and reached there .It turned out the initial guy gave the dog to someone else and the next person refused to give them back.Police got involved . Long story short , Nepali rescuer was initially given the dogs and they treated their visible injuries .

When it was finally time to bring them back, the indian rescuer refused to give them back and started creating hurdles by asking for documentation and all .The family is yet to be contacted and the chances are their family probably swept away too .These dogs are in need of further treatment and they are very traumatised . She is keeping them in Bihar while the dogs most likely lived in hills. The nepali team has given up after she threatened them with “Police has given me the authority”.

I don’t trust the rescuer .If the dogs can’t be brough to Nepal , I hope they atleast reach to safe hands .Someone please intervene .

Hello there people, I am a 16 yr old currently living in a hostel which strictly prohibits any kind of pets. Previously I had fostered 4 kittens (spent all of my savings on them and I mean ALL, I am completely broke now) However fortunately all of the kittens were adopted but while 3 of them are happy and healthy, One of the kitten got a horrible parent.

Okay so the things is the 22 yr old lady told me she had a cat who looked exactly like this kitten she adopted from me and that she was grieving her loss very much. She adopted the kitten being all emotional, so I thought yeah she might be perfect for him and at that time I gave all the stuff I had to her (I gave her approximately things worth 3000 that too for FREE) I regret it so much now.

Alright so time skip She's asked me to take the kitten back cause he's sick, I've told her everything about my situation but she threatened me to take the kitten or she'll abandon the kitty on streets and that genuinely broke my heart.

Now I have the kitten and she did not give back any of his stuffs too. So I'm in big big trouble, Please adopt this kid. If not, please help me buy some food/litter for him :(.

While taking one of my rescued cats to the vet, I sas Bhuri. She had one deep maggot wound and 2 tumors. Thousands of maggots were eating her. She is 12 years old.
