Discussion The Unrecognized Victim of Luo Men
There's the common narrative of victims of Luo Men. Young, naive, lover girl (or hopeless romantic) that fell for the lies of their luo boyfriends only to discover they are the side chick or 5th girlfriend in the second year of the relationship. And over the last few years this has gathered online discourse with trends like Fear Luo Men. But this post is not about those victims. This post is about the other victims that people rarely notice. The other luo men 😂. Okay here me out please.
There's the general perspective agreed upon by many right now about luo men in the dating scene and this can be split down to two categories. Firstly, they know how to love financially. Often lavishing their partner(s) with expensive gifts and vacations and date nights and the likes and making all of them (if more) feel most loved. To a point we've broke people take massive loans to impress their mates. And secondly, they have multiple partners and that means 90 percent of these relationships usually end in tears.
While I am not here to refute any of the claims what this means for other luo men is ladies start to have those expectations on us. Early last year I had a girl who we were just basically in the talking stage and all she kept taking about is 'she just wants to feel the luo love'. I was a brokie. She didn't see me for who I am she just saw the tag the society had placed on me and wanted to experience it. Couldn't offer that. Also recently, another one turned me down saying simply 'she knows how it usually ends. In tears'. And she's not ready to experience that with another luo man again.
And so the rest of us are out here suffering on the consequences of the actions by our fellow tribesmen.
