I noticed that before another noun in sentence we can use just 적 or 적인. For example, 기본적 단어를 외워요 or

성공적인 하루를 보내세요. How to distinguish them and what is the most correct way to use it? I'll be thankful for help!

Is it Jeolla-Do - with an "L" sound or is it Jun-La-Do with a distinct "N" sound.

Same for 문래동 in Seoul.

Is it Mullae Dong - with an "L" sound or it is Moon-Lae-Dong with a distinct "N" sound as written.

Hi guys, I'm korean but i'm really bad at it. Just wondering, when speaking to cousins, do i have to speak formally or informally? How much does the age gap have to be if i need to speak formally?

I'm currently putting together a teaching resource for primary school pupils about different scripts/orthographies around the world. The task has 18 translations of 'languages are amazing/incredible' in various languages which have differing scripts. I've checked the translations with multiple online translation tools, but I'm well aware that these do not always catch the nuanced points that native speakers can, hence why I wanted to post here for advice.

Would this be a suitable translation for Korean, or is there a better alternative?

The only downside to this is that you can only really check it with a native/fluent speaker and I don't have a tutor, so that's why Im asking around online. It's not the most efficient way to study but I think most resources hard focus on grammar and vocab, and this gave me a chance to test my knowledge of tone and context (or like how emotion affects sentence structure)

Im looking for some free korean workbooks that you know are helpful, i know some vocab more than grammar so i’m more towards the beginner level.

Hi everyone! On the 9th I’m going to see KARD in Barcelona, and I want to make a little sign for Jiwoo. 🥹

I saw a video where she mentioned that she feels a little insecure about her smile, but I personally think her smile is absolutely beautiful, and I really want her to know that.

I know she’ll probably appreciate it more if I write it in Korean. Even though they all speak some English, from the few times I’ve been able to interact with them, BM is obviously the most comfortable with it, while the others seem a little less confident speaking English. Also, I’ve been studying Korean for about year and a half now, so it would make me really happy to be able to make the sign in Korean. And since I’m seeing them in Barcelona, I feel like it might make it a little more special and surprising for them. 🥹

I have a couple of doubts about the wording, though. I have these two versions as my “finalists”, but I’m not sure if they’re written correctly or which one would sound more natural/better. I’d really appreciate any input from Korean speakers or anyone who knows more about this than I do!

Which one would you recommend? And would you phrase it differently to make it sound more natural or heartfelt without being too much?

This will also be my first time bringing a little sign to a concert. I’m aware that holding it up could block the view for people behind me. I’m planning to get there VERY early and hopefully be at the barricade, but if I feel like I can’t hold it up without bothering the people behind me, I simply won’t do it. Being considerate of everyone at the concert comes first!
