MoC/Lavender Marriage 24M Palestinian-Jordanian in the US looking for a genuine lavender marriage
I’m a 24-year-old Palestinian-Jordanian man living in the US and looking for a woman who is genuinely interested in building a lavender marriage and meaningful life partnership together.
I’m 6 feet tall, masculine, successful, financially stable, and come from an upper-class Arab family. I’m Muslim but non-practicing and not strict. My family isn’t extremely traditional or controlling, and my future partner would have the freedom to live her own life and be herself.
I already own a beautiful home and would like to build a comfortable, stable life with the right person. She would be free to pursue her own career and goals. If she would rather stay home, especially once we have children, I’m also able to support her fully. That choice would always be hers.
I’m comfortable with my sexuality, but I’ve always wanted a family, children, and a lifelong companion. I’m not looking for a marriage that exists only for appearances. I want a genuine best friend and partner whom I can grow with, travel with, raise children with, and support through every stage of life.
Ideally, we would have mutual respect, emotional closeness, honest communication, and complete transparency about our expectations and boundaries. I want both of us to feel secure and fulfilled while creating a loving and stable environment for our future children.
She must currently live in the United States, and I would strongly prefer someone who is Arab because sharing a similar culture and family background is important to me.
If this sounds like the kind of partnership you’re looking for, feel free to message me with some information about yourself, your background, and what you envision for a lavender marriage. Serious inquiries only.

Question First love at 42: Navigating my faith, deep feelings for a non-Muslim colleague, and severe guilt
Salam alaikum everyone,
I’m reaching out to this community because I’m currently going through something I never thought I’d experience, and I honestly don't know who else to turn to. I need a safe space to lay this all out.
I’m M42 years old, of North African descent, and I live in France. Because of my faith in Allah, I’ve remained a virgin all my life and have never had any romantic or sexual experiences.
Three months ago, things shifted unexpectedly with one of my colleagues. He’s M43, from South America, living in France, openly gay for years, and non-religious (ex-Christian). At first, our interactions were strictly professional. But slowly, our conversations evolved into something deep, romantic, and intensely affectionate. We’ve both admitted our feelings and now say "I love you" every day.
Since we’ve both been away on vacation in different countries, we haven't seen each other physically during these three months. Our communication is strictly through text, voice notes, whatsapp videos, and a rare phone call—mainly because I can’t speak freely around my family.
Despite the distance, the physical and emotional reaction in my body is overwhelming. Whenever we chat, I get strong physical arousal (erections, pre-ejaculatory fluid). In the heat of the moment, I express deep affection, compliment him, and flirt heavily. But as a practicing Muslim, this creates a major daily struggle: maintaining my wudu (ablutions) becomes a constant battle. I literally have to carefully time when I open his messages so it doesn't mess up my prayers.
Lately, I’ve been reading books and researching progressive Islamic views on homosexuality. Yet, I live in constant tension. On one hand, there is a deep, human need for intimacy. On the other, there's a terrifying fear of misinterpreting the texts and committing a grave sin. Sometimes, the emotional distress is so heavy that I almost pray for death—while still leaving the choice of my life in Allah’s hands.
When the sexual arousal drops, I’m left with intense confusion. I ask myself: Do I genuinely love him, or am I just overwhelmed by physical attraction?
He knows I’m a practicing Muslim and that I cannot be out, and he is completely respectful and reassuring about it. He’s an amazing, kind person and a truly beautiful friend. I don't want to be unfair to him. But now that our vacations are coming to an end and we will soon meet in person, I feel completely lost about what to do next.
I’m facing a major dilemma and would love your perspective:
* Should I continue this relationship? Part of me wonders if I should just walk away, accept a life without sexual pleasure, and free myself from all this inner turmoil. But I'm also afraid to loose a real opportunity for love.
* How do I deal with the religious conflict? Even after reading context-based interpretations, the explicit verses condemning men desiring men deeply haunt and disturb me. I’m still not 100% convinced of the permissibility of same-sex relationships.
* What should I do when we meet physically? Given my total lack of experience, I’m anxious about how to handle the next step.
I love him as a person, but my feelings feel very different when I’m sexually aroused versus when I’m calm.
Has anyone been through a similar dynamic? How did you navigate the guilt, the physical attraction, and your faith? Feel free to ask me anything if you need more context.
Thank you for reading.
P.S. Two practical fears are also weighing on me: Sexual health: He’s experienced and I’m a virgin—i'm afraid of STI. Public visibility: I'm well-known in my local French Muslim community and my family is very conservative. I'm terrified of being spotted in public with him.

LGBT Supportive Discussion Female looking for another female (states)
Hi,
I’m going through a really tough time. As a practicing Muslim woman in her 20s, and having same sex attraction, I never gave in to my desires. I always refrained from being with anyone (be it men or women).
I really have this urge of experiencing how it feels to be in a relationship. However, I want it only with another Muslim woman, who would understand these challenges. I’m giving it a shot posting here (DMs are open). Please do reach out if you’re in the states, and this post resonates with you.
No creeps, PLEASE.

I am bisexual south asain (Pakistani) from the midlands in the UK. I am 35 Muslim. I feel so hopeless and have lost any happiness I had. Everytime I find someone that I feel I connect to, and I tell them I am bisexual.. they are no longer interested. I don't want to start a relationship on a lie. Am I really destined to be alone and not have my own family. :"(
I am sorry if this post is not allowed, I am just tired, exhausted and emotionally wounded. May god make things easy.

Question Is it safe to be from the LGBTQ community in Jordan?
Hey, I'm currently living in Germany and i might go back to Jordan soon, but I'm hesitant because I'm into girls and i don't know how safe and tolerated to be queer or gay there, and how people date? Or get to live with there partners, especially when u have a conservative family, and what the worst gonna happen if you get caught......

MoC/Lavender Marriage Platonic marriage Muslim male 26 UK Manchester
My intention for marriage is companionship for the sake of Allah. I experience same-sex attractions / am asexual, but I don’t want to act upon these desires. Instead, I would like to build a family life that is based on mutual support, compassion, and a shared love for the Deen.
I hope to find a wife who is in a similar situation — someone who also wants a marriage rooted in companionship, trust, and worship, without pressure regarding desires, someone who I can be best friends with so together, inshallah, we can create a peaceful home, support each other and have children too through halal means. If you live in or are close to Manchester please reach out.
For me, the most important things are: sincerity, kindness, and working together to grow closer to Allah through our marriage.

Question How do you go about finding a muslim partner ?
I have been asking my self this question for the past few months. I am gay from a north african (so muslim by heritage let s say) background who have been living in a european country for several years now.
I have been on dating apps and it simply didnt work because there are many cultural differences ( for instance i m not out to my family and many gay men here wont even think about dating a closeted person). I thought finding someone on the same boat would be a good step towards finding a partner. But how do you do that? There are no lgbt inclusive mosques around. No apps for lgbt musilms ...kinda starting to give up on the idea of finding a partner

LGBT Supportive Discussion There seems to be a problem with one of these queer muslim subreddits
So i posted this on the r/muslimgaybros subreddit:
"i just recently discovered this subreddit from r/askgaybros and from what ive seen, the vibes are pretty okay so far (well except for that one guy). So this is my first time posting here.
As someone who's not muslim, i know that most muslims hate the lgbtq movement. And this caused a lot queer muslims to distance themselves from the movement.
Thankfully there are also many more resistances out there that seeks to assimilate queer muslims so that they won't be afraid to be part of the lgbtq movement. Through lgbtq organizations, subreddits like r/LGBT_muslims and the likes.
because only through our movement can we champion the rights of queer people in muslim lands, the right to live, the right to love, and eventually the right to marry. Hopefully someday we're able to see queer marriages be legalized across every muslim majority country. THIS is the importance of our movement.
I trust that this subreddit will be among those who'll invite people to our liberal and inclusive community."
But it got taken down after a few hours. When i asked why it was banned he told me that he didn't want pro lgbt sentiments in that subreddits and that gay marriage shouldn't be advocated for.
I (and im sure most gay people) find this problematic, and frankly outright homophobic. I'm just here to warn you guys about that subreddit and To keep an eye on them.

Islam & LGBT seeking to learn about Islam
Hello. I’ve been having doubts about my faith for several years; I was born Catholic, but I lost interest a long time ago. I would like to learn more about Islam and the culture in general—to find out if you are truly the way people describe you. By the way, I am a 26-year-old transgender woman. It would be lovely if you could send me a message so I can learn more about your faith, your beliefs, and your worldview.

MoC/Lavender Marriage 30M based in London, UK looking for lavender marriage
Hi all, I’m a 30 year old Muslim male living in London. As you can imagine I’m expected to marry soon considering my age now.
In an ideal world, I’m interested in a queer woman who can relate and has a similar situation. And no, this doesn’t come from a place of self hate it’s just a matter of convenience for most of us I believe.
A little bit about me: I love to go on walks, go to the cinema, read books and I also love to travel as well.
I do work full time, I come from an East African background but open to those who are from other backgrounds. And if you live in the UK/EU that would be a plus. Please do message if interested! Thanks.

MoC/Lavender Marriage MOC (25 M UK)
Hi everyone!
I'm a 25-year-old British Pakistani male with same sex attraction based in the UK. I'm working and financially stable, and my parents are pushing for me to get married. I don't want to get married to a heterosexual female as it just wouldn't be fair to her as I'm attracted to men.
I'd like a woman who's in the same or similar situation as me to please reach out whether they have same sex attraction or asexual, I don't mind. I'd prefer someone educated, and decent looking so that convincing parents would be easier. Preferably lives in the UK and willing to relocate to Birmingham.
I am not interested in anyone wanting to get married just as a cover. I want someone who doesn't act on their same sex attraction due to Islam like me, or is asexual, preferably someone who tries to pray 5 times a day and is a hijabi, but that is not a deal breaker at all.
I'd love to have our biological children someday, but after a certain amount of time and once we've become best friends first. I am very flexible in that regard and would consider other ways of having children too or even no children at all. Children are not a must for me. I fully support my partner working after marriage too, if they want to.
I love traveling, watching movies, TV shows and playing board games.

LGBT Supportive Discussion How hard is to integrate in a muslim country as an european gay person?
Hello!
I am a 32 yo, eastern european, and I work as a petroleum engineer. During my career, I had the chance to work for short assignments on some GCC countries, but anytime I had a full term offer to relocate in one of those places, I have declined due to the fear of living there as a gay person. , each decision came with regrets and I am not sure if I did the right thing, as basically throwing away my professional development with regards to my sexual orientation.
