Now while I still love this movie, it’s still my favourite Spider-Man movie and one of my favourite mcu movies. But i still don’t understand this scene. this thing is probably my biggest problem with the movie. I know Peter not saving him from getting hit is probably just spider sense not working due to his mutation, but him not checking on the guy felt a little odd. I also just don’t understand why Jean rand decides to make this guy get hit with a taxi for no reason. like I know she was being reckless and destructive with how she was trying to find sara and keep spidey out of her way. But this just felt completely unnecessary and random for her motives and added nothing to the movie. like the only way it makes any sense is if she didn’t intend for it and was just being reckless or something but even that seems kinda dumb and unnecessary

Ok so since YFNS takes place MCU adjacent, so isn't Infinity War gonna happen soon? or at least by Season 3 or Season 4 they will have to adress Thanos Donut Ship coming to New York or the dusting too. IMO Good oppurtunity to do a "what if other half snapped?"

All the Avengers scenes from the first season were prolly leftovers from back when the show was meant to take place in the mcu.

There are some characters whose MCU look I prefer compared to the original material. Do you have any examples of characters whose MCU look you also prefer?

Some of these, like Falcon and Ant-Man, I don't even think the MCU costumes are that good, but the comic book ones manage to be worse. A detail about Daredevil: I think his costume works perfectly and is beautiful in the comics, but it's a costume that wouldn't work in other media, and the TV series costume is the best possible costume for the character in live-action. And Ultron, I think the original mouth is better, but otherwise I prefer the MCU one; they just needed to improve the mouth a little and for me it would be perfect.

Unlike DC which has some characters relegated to a time period but they mostly unrelated to the time period they live in, Marvel is much more grounded when they create characters and also makes whatever is currently going on in the present a part of their story life for a few examples:

• Fantastic Four and the Hulk are strictly connected to the Space Race and atomic paranoia of the early 60s
• Iron Man and Punisher's origins are connected to the Vietnam War
• X-Men and Black Panther are very inspired by the civil rights movements.
• A lot of early Marvel villains like Kraven, Red Ghost, Titanium Man etc. are Russians which was a consequence of the Cold War going on during the 60s and 70s.
• Ofc then it makes easier to justify stuff like Magneto being an Holocaust survivor or having seen the Holocaust happening during the war.

Even stories like Marvels by Kurt Busiek and Alex Ross or Spider-Man Life Story by Chip Zdarsky show how much the time period these characters were created is as important as the character themself. Even movies like X-Men First Class, Fantastic Four First Steps and Captain America The First Avenger seems to get that the character's themes reasonates so well when the story and characters are releagated to the time period they live in.

I'm alright with the stories being updated for modern readers or the movies being modern day. Is just there's something very special and nostalgic to say when a story about our heroes is set in a specific time window like the 60s, 70s or 80s than in the modern era.

Like, okay, everyone is now strong. All the stupid weak people are gone. Does he go chill in Thanos's cabin with him and snack on purple fruit and reflect a bit?

Does he become a personal trainer and hold accountability for everyone to be better by making P90X style videos and to diet and eat well and to two-a-days or theyll risk being considered weak?

When the strong people have babies, is there going to be a 300 style baby pit to ensure purity?

During immortal hulk - it is revealed that the Hulk can be a vessel for The One Below All - which makes him a multi universal threat - and nobody can stop him other than the One Above All - so we're not gonna count that cus TOBA has to possess him - he's channeling not his own powers but TOBA's powers. Also infernal hulk is possessed by the mother of horrors so that's also not his actual powers.

but even w/o that , the Hulk is like top 10 in power in Marvel, no?

Cosmic Hulk punched his way out of a black hole and beat up Galactus till Franklin Richards sent him away - and this is solely from hulk's innate abilities, right? he wasnt possessed by other being or channeling their powers. this was hulk adapting , and growing stronger and stronger cus of his rage.

so do i have this right?

Hulk is the strongest in the marvel universe other than the cosmic entities? (again minus when he's being possessed by TOBA or mother of horrors..who is basically the same thing )

he beats thor, thanos, sentry, all of the avengers, xmen, green lanterns, etc? **or is he now on par with the cosmic entities now that he beat up on galactus?**
